Thanks guys, I used to be able to live in the moment, but then highschool came and people were talking about their hobbies and their future and such, and then I realised, I have nothing planned. O haven't built any hobbies, any passions, anything I can use to give my life meaning. At the risk of sounding like I'm just meme-ing,
pretty much everything you just said I've felt a very similar way about the direction of my own life quite recently, hence why I was on the cusp of an hero'ing myself with a shotgun.
So I found one two people that I felt I could trust, people from my old life, as in old high school classmates who were also outcasts in HS and prototypical robots but I had lost touch with them since HS ended.
And with those 2 people, and a friend of theirs to be a sober babysitter, we all tripped on LSD. It was scary at first but I learned much from the experience. I felt the love and the trust and compassion and the unity of our consciousness. And now, I am resolved to not lose touch with them again, because we've been through this formative experience together. Whereas before, for 4 yrs after HS ended, I spent my time completely alone, retreating into a shell of myself, unable to feel anything, nor enjoy anything I previously used to enjoy.
