I thought I was getting pretty normie because I've managed to gain social skills and a few friends. But let me tell you, there is a level of 'normiedom' that I cannot attain.
I went to the pub with a friend, but he invited his normie friends to come too.
They spent the whole afternoon talking about football. Literally all afternoon. How can people like this not only exist, but be common? How?
But then I realised, they're not 'normies', they're plebs. If my friend had invited a bunch of weebs and they'd sat there having in-depth discussions about anime, my level of involvement in the discussion would have been about the same. It just happens to be socially acceptable to be a boring faggot if all you're interested in is football.
Football wankers are the only group of people that I can't interact with, and I've finally realized that its not my fault, its their fault for being such utterly disgusting plebs, and I don't have to interact with them, because there's other non-pleb people who I can talk to instead.
At another time in my life I might have considered the possibility that I should learn about football and try to be intereted in it so I could engage with these plebs. But fuck it, and fuck them. I'm just going to b myself instead.

I don't want to make light of that, dealing with the death of a parent or child is very difficult the problem is of course it should be difficult. They have an easy to identify problem, they are probably reacting to it as a person should they just need a bit of support for it. We know they will eventually come to terms with it and move in some way and there is a state in which they know they would be happy.
