You make minimum wage if your tips don't cover it, but it would take an apocalypse for that to happen.
I work at a sports bar (granted you have to at least fake Chad characteristics and know sports), but it is rare that I walk away with less than $100 a night on a 6 hour shift. The most I've made in an 8 hour night is $595. It just gets so busy and you acquire so many tables, that the money (tips) just adds the fuck up.
Granted, you've got to have some decent social skills and good stress management techniques, but it's an underrated job for wageslaves.

I work at a pizza resteraunt (no delivery, make stuff other than pizza, pretty decent) for $7.25/h 20-30 hours a week as a cook. My coworkers are great and every one smokes weed but I had to stop so I can find something better. It kinda sucks to be taking out the trash and have a coworker offer to let you rip their bong as they sit in their truck but you have to decline.
I plan to move across the country near the end of the year so I'm planning to save up after hopefully getting a warehouse job making $12/h working 40 hours a week, but I still have a week and a half until I've been a month sober. I feel like maybe I'd do alright money-wise as a server but our boss only hires female servers so I'm fucked there.
Here's to hoping I can get that warehouse job in a couple weeks and can start smoking again. It demolishes my depression and makes literally every facet of my life more enjoyable.
