Nah but if you remove yourself from your familiar environment and isolate yourself from your existing social group your ego (and all the pathologies that go along with it) tends to dissolve over time. You know how they say "you're the average of the 5 people you interact with most"? The inverse is that if you interact with no one your sense of self kind of dissipates into an amorphous "default", which you can then take as a starting point to reconstruct a healthier sense of self that doesn't make you miserable. You still need to put in the mental effort to reject your negative self-imagery and replace it with positive self-imagery - and then reinforce that by building positive habits that complement that image - but in contrast to how hopeless that feels when your negative self-image is constantly being reinforced by the familiar environment, it's very much doable when you relocate to an environment without reinforcers of your old self.
