We didn't have assigned seats, but I sat alone in every class I was in. Three classes involved a lot of computer lab/art/woodworking work so that part wasn't so bad, but it really stung sitting in the desk classes by myself every lesson for my two final years.
Our school also took us to a water park at the end of each year for house games and the rest of the day doing recreation. The people I tagged on to bailed on me so I spent the day wandering around alone.
