What is the best animes you watched this year?
My top picks are Shokugeki no Souma, Overlord, Ushio and Tora, Rokka no Yuusha, Durarara and Noragami Arogoto.
My vote for overall best is Prison School though, it was fucking hilarious, the story is interesting and the characters are all very likeable, had a ball watching it and I read the rest of manga because of how captured I was.

I say Cinderella Girls, its a 2 part epic on the struggles of Idol-dom and provides a new, alternative angle that isn't just all "happy happy fun fun!" like the first Idolmaster series, Aikatsu and LL. I liked overlord too though, really hope for a second season
the only animes I watched this year were watamote and welcome to the nkh to get more of an understanding of this board and made me realize I'm exactly the same. Only downside is I wish watamote wasn't so short.

I know Gundam Thunderbolt only has one episode so far, but it's fucking great already.
Kinda mind blowing how much good Gundam shit came out this year. It's a nice change of pace from fucking Build Fighters.

The only new (not a sequel) show I liked this year was GATE, and that's mostly because I've been following the manga as long as it's been getting scanlated and love it.
Other than that, it was pretty much just sequels for me. (Owarimonogatari etc.)
I think the only other series I enjoyed much this year was World Trigger, which came as a big surprise since it's not my usual style of show, but I wouldn't call myself a big fan of it.
Oh, Yamada-Kun was a decent adaptation but I got bored of it because it just felt like reading the manga over again.

All episodes have ad-libbing. In the first two seasons it's about fifty-fifty, but in the third season (which I think is the best by far) it's ad-libbing almost all the time. The first two seasons have half-length episodes so they don't take too long to watch.
I went with seiya's release for the first season which uses CR subs (there was some other release that had issues with the subs). For the second season I don't remember what options there were but I went with the 720p BDrip (probably CR subs).

I get the feeling I was watching all the wrong shows. My favorites were Euphonium, YuriKuma, Wakaba Girl, Prison School and OreMono. IBO has been pretty cool too and OPM had some brilliant scenes.

My pick has to be jitsu wa... Because it is truly my favorite manga and the anime did its best to capture the expressions of the characters. More nostalgia fagging than anything else, but I love those guys.

Just watched all three seasons of Yuru Yuri this week. Was pretty damn funny, though I will miss Akarin. Just hearing her nick name said at the start of the first two seasons and seeing her flustered about the openings was pretty cute.
I have to see the second season of Non Non Biyori now since I liked the first one.
Though after that I am unsure with what to go with next. My friend recommended me Sakura Trick, though another one told me to view Haruhi. Maybe I should take this to /wsr/, but I am wondering if there are any SOL like Bartender, something away from middle school/high school. I liked Listen to me Girls, I am your Father! since it showed a guy having trouble with balancing his new work load in college along with jobs and taking care of his cousins. Depends what you want. I enjoyed S3, don't listen to /a/ on anything. S1 and 2 had a lot more focus on comedy and being cartoony and more spastic while S3 chilled out the atmosphere and color palette. There seems to be more yuri and SOL focus as well.

He's basically done everything but actually seal the deal with the girls he's close to. Plus, both of the girls who we basically know are interested in him were never interested in Chad anyway, so there never really was any "cucking" in the first place with them, and Iroha's situation is quite vague.
I would probably go so far as to argue that he was never a robot at all, just a jaded loner. He's actually had the courage to ask out a number of random girls in middle school, something a robot would have never done growing up, as he would have been far too insecure. Plus, if he was actually a robot during his introduction to the Service Club, one of two things should have happened during the tenure: he should have either sperged out completely at the first sighting of Yukino and tried to do whatever she says in order to appease her, or remained completely uncaring in regards to her feelings or situation, pulling no punches in his insults to her, bringing up her family and everything like that. The fact that he was able to banter with her so often and respond to her quips so quickly already separated him from a robot. Robots can't banter IRL. I could go on.
One Punch Man because the animation was fucking great.
