THE WAY IT ACTUALLY WORKS FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS BOUGHT MULTIPLE THINGS:
Buyer buys off of the wishlist, and one of two things happens.
1. If the person has "dont spoil my surprises" checked, the item stays in the list and does not show up in purchased. no confirmation necessary from the reciever. the buyer gets the normal confirmation and shipping emails, and screenies those to show the anon they got the gift for them to avoid dupes.
2. if the box is unchecked, the RECEIVER gets the emails, as WELL as the buyer. NO CONFIRMATION necessary
source, have bought 4 or 5 anons gifts already, and dealt with BOTH situations.
