It's alright. I live right in the centre and on the ground floor, so there's always noise and traffic outside, which sometimes keeps me awake at night. Aside from housing and restaurants, things aren't really that expensive here, since there are tons of budget shops. I used to think London was a dirty city until I visited Paris.
