I just hated the arts and crafts projects which were often graded primarily on how pretty they looked. Fuck, I'd rather read a textbook and write a report than make some stupid diorama or poster board.

I don't think it affected on that many levels, but that "treated like a dysfunctional girl instead of a boy" happened to me. When I got sad or hurt I wasn't told to stand up for myself and even if I did I couldn't know how and I would just end up in trouble. I was supposed to just cry about it and that would be the end of that.
I was told that men are naturally just brainless sex crazed brutes who can't do nothing but fuck and kill, and I was also lead to believe that "men aren't allowed to show emotions" which is just bullshit because men DO show their emotions, they just don't show them like women.

Its definitely something that needs addressing, in my country (Australia) every year the final school leavers University entrance marks come out the girls always outperform the boys across the board and its seen as a "YOU GO GIRLS THING" - Yet in the past when the boys did better it was a "Cause for concern". Definitely worrying seeing as the quality of male high school graduates is going down the drain completely.
I only finished high school a few years ago and didn't really run into any bias, then again my high school as so shit any teacher that gave a fuck about teaching probably wasn't there. I really did find that a lot of the guys weren't dumb, but just bored. If anything the guys were smarter, they viewed things objectively and thought just beyond the box while the vast majority of girls just regurgitated that the teachers and textbook told them. I see this at University too in my degree, I think its just a different in learning styles. If presented with a problem the males will figure out a way to solve it based on past experiences experimenting with the formula etc., while the girls will overwhelmingly just skim the textbook/internet for clues on how to solve it. However the boys were often louder and more badly behaved, most of it fairly innocent but it either resulted in them being put on medication to treat "ADHD" and the like at a young age which seemed to just turn them into video game playing zombies.
I don't think segregating classes into boys and girls is a good idea, especially in this SJW age of transgenders and genderfluids and god knows what they have now but something has to be done. Hopefully a more "organic" movement which leads to parents and their sons putting down the medication the psychiatrist prescribed for their sons that have nothing wrong with them, a little bit of discipline and a teaching style that isn't just "Sit here and shut up and don't move and regurgitate what the textbook said" will come around.

Back at my school, we students were often assigned books about violence/racism/war/etc., but the teachers were required to pass out slips that we had to show to our parents that basically alerted them of whatever "disturbing material" we'd be reading. The parents also had an option of signing off to forbid their kids from reading the said book, and they'd be given an alternate assignment.
This was an arts school in the middle of a ghetto, yet our 10th-grade English teacher was forced to hand out papers that warned students and their parents that they didn't have to read To Kill A Mockingbird if the use of "the n-word" rustled their jimmies. Also, in 8th grade, our teacher had to tell us that a book we were reading had the word "penis" in it.
I think this goes far beyond crazed feminists, though, and is just pushed by helicopter parents and nervous school superintendents that are somehow unsettled by the idea of highschoolers reading anything remotely "controversial". I remember when I was in 5th grade, I think, and I used to draw stick figures shooting guns and going to war. My teacher found out and told my parent and it turned into a huge thing, where hey thought I was a violent kid who wanted to kill and hurt people. I didn't know that what I was doing was "wrong", and I was shamed for it.
Another time, I punched a kid because he was being stupid and my teacher said "I'm very disappointed in you". That hurt me. He was one of the only male teachers too, and he was my favourite.
There are probably other things that happens that I forget.

Tbh, feminism has had a mixed influence in my life. There was some liberal bullshit I had to deal with like anti-male bias but my girlfriend is a feminist and has actually been willing to admit that some feminist ideas don't apply all the time and that the reason we're seeing so many men get into all this edgy "redpill" bullshit is because they only see radfems and people demonizing men. I've known some radfems, too...all horribly petty people but they don't make up the majority in my experience. The problem is just that some of the more moderate feminists are too nice and will defer to people belonging to marginalized groups regardless of whether they're right or wrong.
