Every tranny appointment I've ever been to, there's been nothing but FtM dudes in the waiting room. Men have a lot of perceived cultural advantages, so even if you aren't "properly" trans, whatever that means, there's a lot to be said for being a man from a female's point of view. Plus, they generally pass much better than transwomen. If one doesn't pass, it's not really a big deal, where as a non-passing MtF is treated like a laughing stock. And when you hear the word "transsexual", you're probably thinking about an MtF one, not the other way around.
