What made early Spongebob so good /r9k/?

Apparently Hillenburg is finally coming back to the show after leaving around season 3 or 4. Hopefully he can bring the magic back.

Delivery of jokes were more clever and the humor was actual humor compared to the new seasons which are basically a an unfunny rip off of Adventure Time
