Whenever I try to sleep I keep thinking about all the things that made my day shit. I end up crying and then falling asleep out of exhaustion.
Why can't I stop thinking about how much I hate myself?
>feel very tired, body is stiff, should fall asleep easily
>close my eyes
>my eyes are dry and I can feel the heat of my eyelids and it fucking burns
>blink angrily for 15 minutes trying to moisturize
>eventually settle down and doze off
>jerk awake with a violent spasm moments later
>now stuck in some kind of barely lucid half asleep state where I'm so close to it that I'm nearly dreaming but just conscious enough to still be thinking thoughts like "fuck", perpetually suspended between worlds in the purgatory of my cold, dark room
I know it's entirely my fault because I've had no sleep schedule for months, flip flopping between sleeping at night, or for only, some of it, or through the day, or intermittent naps.

Honestly lately I've been thinking I've got non-24 hour disorder. If I go to bed at 8 one night, I have to go to bed at 10 the next. I literally can't do it. I get so tired around bedtime all I can do is sit there and stare.
