I personally believe war is enabled by dehumanizing the other side,
you have to have the people hate the very mention of the identifying factors of the others,
their culture, their way of life, their religion, anything that they do that the people of your country don't,
and this is achieved nicely through propaganda in media,
ww1 and ww2 used leaflets and radio, but these days the means are more sophisticated,

The people don't, the ones who start the wars will never see it, it is because of that distancing that they can so casually declare war on other countries,
they won't have to see their colleagues die,
they aren't the ones who have to shoot a civilian or risk blowing to pieces,
they sit behind a desk and put their name on same paper, go in front of cameras and talk big on justice, revenge and victory.
The ones who start wars should be put on the first wave, right in the thick of the action and we would see end of wars,
