Pros and cons of were you live.

Pros
>Delicious seafood including dungeness crab, oysters and abalone
>surrounded by glorious wine country on all sides
>plethora of great places to eat and drink
>beautiful mountains, forests, and scenery
>jobs
>a haven for normies

Cons
>cost of living is completely unobtainable unless you are a VC or an old money baby boomer
>Liberals. Liberals everywhere.
>SJW breeding grounds
>every facet of culture and local identity has been pushed out and corrupted by techies
>perhaps the worst traffic in the country
>rent is so high you must have half a dozen roommates.
>Jerry Brown wants to take my guns
>Dianne Fienstein, Barbara Boxer
>not a great place to be if you aren't a robot

Fuck this place. I ate the normie pill and got myself a good career and I still can't afford to live in this shit.

ayy I live here too, Alameda hbu op
I really like it

Pros
>literally hundreds of great food places within reasonable walking distance

Cons
>Expensive

honestly I love it here, I think this is a great place for robots if they can afford it. Nobody bothers me and I can easily get food by walking to one of the restaurants 5-10 minutes away from me. Also a pretty fun place to explore actually, the bay area has a lot of character other than just tech stuff, although that is a big part

Aside from your parent's garage, were can a robot live in the bay area? Even section 8 will require roommates
>>

Germany, Bavaria
+ High standards of living
+ Jobs
+ Safe (I now, less and less ...)
+ High welfare / social security, important for robots
+ Mild weather
+ Overall very civilized and by-the-rules, good for robots

- Forget being an ethnic majority, Germans are replaced at an astonishing rate
- No identity or cultural life to speak of, we import everything from the US
- Merchant nation, everything's done for the economy
- Wealth inequalities approaching US levels

>Education is backwards even more so than general education and low budget
>High racial tension
>Corrupt Mayor and officials
>Police don't give a fuck
>Only friend I had was killed in a random drive by shooting
>City seems to mainly attract either Haitians or Guatemalans who don't obey American laws and don't speak English
>Haitian family nearby set my neighbor's yard on fire by firing off illegal fireworks July 3rd and burned their shed

Planning to move to Oregon or Washington within 2 years.
