Think about it. Every Jojo is in shape, handsome and clever. Jojo always gets the girl that he goes after, Jojo is succesful in life (Joseph became a real estate magnate, Jotaro became a marine scientist etc.) and they generally do well.
A lot of the villains in Jojo, however, are complacent, lazy, perverted, anti-social etc.
Keep in mind Dio was the biggest Chad in the series.

What Rohan said about Hazamada in the most recent episode is correct. Nobody likes characters that are selfish, dicks, and creepy perverts. I don't physically harm anyone as Hazamada does, but I'm little better.
