Hey, /r9k/,
I know that this board is full of lonely people, just like myself, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a game that would be enjoyable without other people? Most games I play are more fun to play with someone else and since I have no friends, playing them just makes me depressed.
Personally I'm immensely enjoying The Witcher 3 right now, and I also liked 2. Maybe a survival game? Most other games I play are rather tailored to my personal tastes.

Thanks. Is The Witcher any similar to Fable? Because it looks similar.

Hey buddo, try playing modded skyrim.
Download nexus mod manager, spend a comfy afternoon browsing mods and install the handful that sound nice, and rp a playthrough.
Suggested mods:
>turn generic dogs into various breeds, and let's you pick up strays as followers
>SKSE gives more modding options
>HDT allows more modding options
>cloaks
>find a player home that looks cozy to you
>perk overhaul
>armor mods, level enchanting to deck out the aesthetic you like
It's a great time, and wonderful single player RP experience

Stardew Valley (I highly recommend this game if you want to be comfy, it's like a mix of Harvest Moon and NES Zelda)
Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind
Dark Souls Franchise
The Witcher Franchise (the first game is kinda hard to get into, but it's worth it imo)
Pillars of Eternity
Darkest Dungeon
Volgarr the Viking
Fallout: New Vegas, I guess Fallout 4 is okay
Dragon Age: Origins & Awakenings
First Mass Effect game
Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 10 are on Steam I think also
I'd also recommend Final Fantasy XIV because it has a pretty sociable/welcoming community
The whole batman arkham series. Cheap as hell on g2a. Play asylum > city > knight, and then, if you really liked these games, play origins, but the gameplay is way better in the 3 other.
