Today I will share a story of love, friendship, anger, and revenge. Today, I will share with you the tale of Frog Bro.

>I was visiting a local pond that I frequent trying to catch carp
>no bites for like an hour
>get bored
>decide to try and catch some frogs with my hands to pass the time
>a few seconds after deciding to partake in a good round of frog catching, I hear it
>the melodious moan of a large bullfrog
>the frog is sitting in the brush just ahead of me
>peek over the brush and examine my specimen
>sure enough, it is a large bullfrog that was missing an eye
>I sneak up, snatch it, and hold it for a while
>at first it squirms but then it calms down
>I sit back down and decide to put it on my knee while I wait for carp
>rather than hopping away, he just sits there
>after a while he actually falls asleep
>I've never seen a frog so friendly towards humans
>decide to name him Frog Bro
>eventually, it is time to leave my fishing spot
>I pick up Frog Bro and place him back into the water
>he just sits there and looks at me
>I push him away and he still just sits there
>after a bit of prompting Frog Bro swims off
>I watch Frog Bro kick away, gliding through the water
>that's when I realized that Frog Bro is in danger
>he's heading right towards a nesting Largemouth Bass

>bass lunges as soon as the lure contacts the surface
>the bass has swallowed the lure
>the ruse has worked and I stuck
>the bass was no match for me
>my fury over Frog Bro burned hot
>I caught the bass
>I shoved my knife through it's skull
>I filleted it, and put its flesh into a zip-lock bag
>not only did I kill this monster, but I was going to eat it in Frog Bro's honor
>I cut open its stomach, and sure enough, there he was
>a slightly digested Frog Bro
>I threw the bass carcass back into the water and buried Frog Bro where I found him
>that night I feasted upon bass
>victory never tasted better
You can now rest easy Frog Bro, for I have avenged thee. Rest in peace. One day we shall meet again in Valhalla.

Comrades, my father died very suddenly a few days ago. My feelings eroded away a long time ago. I didn't shed a single tear at his funeral, and I haven't cried or felt anything for a long time. My mom is clearly starting to notice, and she's started snooping and is starting to see how broken I am. Is there any way to get the feelings back? What should I do, my friends?
