After a while I realised one of the factors of my depression, although a minor factor, was most people "close" to me never calling me by my actual name. When I asked people to call me by my actual name only a few people took me seriously.

Was nick named after pic related on the left, as a baby by parents. Never knew why, I don't look or act like him. Go to elementary school and make some friends. Invite them to house, and they hear family calling me by nickname. They bring name back to school, and it catches on. Follows me throughout school years, because there is always at least one person who calls me that, and it always catches like wildfire. It follows me to this day. People could have called me by my real name for years, and the moment they hear the nickname, they never call me anything else.
