Thanks for sharing, It's got a bit of a hopeful quality, in hopes to romance this girl he is fixated on. The female vocalist coming in makes it appear that this wish has come true. That even through the conflicts they will have music together. But the chorus contradicts this as he goes on about his regret "if only I could right my wrongs", wanting a girl to love you enough to stand out in the rain for you.
