Then leave, go for a long walk. Take a nap if you get tired. If you get hungry, either buy reduced food from the supermarket, or wait for food to be abandoned at a restaurant. Keep clean shaven, and clean. Be nice, and don't be intrusive. Ask people you encounter if they know where you can find work, or someone who is renting. Don't get mixed up in drugs, and you should have a job, and a house within a month if you do enough legwork.
