Redpill me on life as an INTJ

inb4: le mastermind meme xD
>>
You'll think everyone's a retard because they argue/think emotionally

And then you'll be the retard if you don't adapt to it
>>
>>29042185
I can't really add a lot to this.

INTJs think about things in dry, black-and-white terms which is really useful for philosophy, math, science, and even political strategy, and so we naturally adapt to things that make us look smart but it turns out that 99% of life is feely shit where there is no black and white and thinking is a big no-no.

I saw a video once of this INTJ kid on a job interview and his interviewer asks him why he wants the job and he says "for the money." The interviewer was so buttblasted at that and had to continue on and even though the INTJ kid was just being honest, thats, like, not what normies want to hear. They want to hear about why you chose THIS job to get money from, why it makes you feel good and who you plan to be by taking it and so on. INTJs tend to respond to that like "who the fuck cares, I can do the job, so pay me to do it" and then no one hires them and they die alone.
>>
>>29042185
>not learning to manipulate people's emotions

You're not a true INTJ then
>>
>>29042295
The less horrible INTJs realize they can fucking LIE their way to a job, but otherwise that's basically all there is too it.

In other news, I hate having decent morals or else I'd be a less shitty INTJ
>>
It's incredibly boring. Ever had someone try to tell you about their "crazy dream" they had last night? That's how boring people are to you, all the time.
>>
FYI just about everyone has two meyer-briggs types that they switch between. Some have more.

Thinking you get one and that is what you should identify with is pretty fucking stupid and misses the point of the classifications in the first place.
>>
>>29042153
People's relationship problems are baffling, part because they're driven by irrational emotions and lots of INTJs don't have much relationship experience.

Had a coworker talking about her ex all the time that she still sees at the gym a lot. Every problem she had I broke down, trying to figure out why everyone acted how they did, and how to deal with it (usually came down to "who gives a shit what he thinks it's over") but I never realized that she was putting herself though so much shit because she still had feelings for him.

She complained to another coworker about my responses and my lack of understanding, but I just tried to approach the problems as logically and straightforward as possible. What was plain to me was foreign to her, and vice-versa. But I was also the only one who would openly speak my mind about what I thought because I never considered that she'd be offended by my opinion

what's really baffling is how weak, naive, and sensitive people are

i've pretty much given up on trying to help anyone or care about anything

sometimes i hope there's a civil war or something, just so people learn that all the bullshit possessions and relationships they care about don't really matter, once all the lovely civilized people start raping and beheading each other in the streets
>>
Yeah most often INTJs are thought edgy because their straightforward thinking about death and stuff. Most people get too fucking emotional and if you try to think logically you are an asshole. I'll tell a story
> Be me
> have an aunt dying of cancer
> she's in extreme pain with stage 4 and all
> dies
> family all sad and gloomy
> say it's good she died. At least she's no longer in pain now
> family look at me like I'm a monster from the seventh hell itself
> now refuses to acknowledge me
She was a strong woman all her life and a single mother. Honestly it was painful to see her in that position. But apparently I'm the asshole for thinking that death was a blessing to her.
>>
>>29042921
>strong woman
>single mother
>>
>>29042955
Yeah not an American here... Her husband, my mother's brother died...
>>
>>29042921
I had a similar experience recently. My grandfather died and I said it wasn't such a tragedy because he was in hospital for a long time and he had accepted it calmly. My mum said I sounded "callous" so I lied that I had only meant that he'd had a long and fulfilling enough life that we should celebrate his life rather than mourn his death. Then at the wake I made sure she saw me look sad at the sight of his body.
>>
>>29043025
alright, if he died then it's different
>>
>>29043058
Kek...I know that feel. I had to look repentant at my aunt's funeral. Even shed a tear or two to show my grief.
>>
>>29042153
Being overly pragmatic sucks when dealing with everyday issues.

>>29042673
She wasn't really interested in a solution. She only wanted to be listened to.
>>
>>29043068
Yeah... In my culture divorce is extremely frowned upon
>>
>>29043120
I can't make myself cry so I just frowned and looked down. It's more congruent anyway, since I've never been a very gregarious person.
>>
>>29043058
fucking normies.

they don't even want you to empathise in your own way. they just want you to ape their expressions. they don't give a shit. this was like when Kim Jong il died and all those north Koreans had to act sad.
>>
>>29043163
I hate this... Faking sadness at the death of someone beloved... I mean death is an inevitable part of life. You know it's out there to get you. Accept the fact and move on. But apparently you must show signs of grief at a funeral

>>
>>29043198
It's like they think if you're less emotional, you must be some kind of psychopath.

>>29043217
I shouldn't even have been expected to go to the funeral. I had a drink in the man's honour when I found out, but I know that wouldn't be seen as sufficient.
>>
>>29042433
>he less horrible INTJs realize they can fucking LIE their way to a job, but otherwise that's basically all there is too it.

Yeah but INTJs usually have really high morality, which seems untrue because theyre cold and dont show emotions, but something like lying for a job is hard for an INTJ to do. They would rather tell the truth and have something accepted for what it is, whether its a job interview or people accepting them for who they are. This is why INTJs hate fake people so much
>>
ENTP here.

I guess I get along with INTJs the best because we both tend to think logically instead of emotionally.
>>
>>29043337
lying is the greatest form of weakness

it's also inefficient because it just makes people ask more stupid questions, and you have to avoid telling different things to people who have contact with each other
>>
>>29043367
entps are too unfocused and naive
>>
>INTJs trying to claim Newton

>>
>>29043390
Unfocused is right. I've had a college paper to write which is apparently really easy and quick to do, but I start doing it, then call it off and play some vidya instead, go out for a drink or watch a movie. When something bores me, I really can't get into it.
>>
>>29042295
if you can't handle non black/white thinking you're not smart at all
>>
>>29043337
Lying isn't something that hard for me to do; but I enlist not to do it. Lying often isn't worth it because it's not productive and may even make the problem worse. Whereas truth enables problem solving.

I think I have a lot to give for the people around me. I'm a graceful INTJ, many in this thread seem very arrogant. I keep to myself, and I really LOVE my solitude, my listening to music and reading of books. I see something interesting, something I like, in every single person I meet.

As for my intelligence, sadly I have wasted it in addictions to video games, but I really want to produce music and write my books that I've been planning for years. I think I am getting closer to finally breaking the gaming addiction and starting a creation addiction.

But enough about myself...one thing I have noticed that makes me different than others, the most INTJ thing...is that I am fearless. I see everyone around me interact based on fear. Businesses especially. At the doctor's place my family and friends go to, I've heard of a few cases where someone mentioned chest pain, and the doctors there told them to go to the ER and have it checked out. In all cases, they had no heart problems. Why were they told to go to the ER?

Fear. Even though these family doctors are not heart specialists, they have the equipment to check people's hearts....and they did check these patients' hearts. But they doubt their judgement, and they fear what might happen if they are wrong, so they send the patient to the ER where there are heart specialists.

You could just say this is a "safe business" tactic. But of the doctors that do this, I am not one of them. I do not send patients away when they have chest pain that is not a sign of a heart problem, because I do not doubt my judgement, and none of these patients have ever turned out to had heart problems since I sent them away telling them they had none.

I am not a doctor, this is all a metaphor, but I hope you understand this does apply to my actual career, which I am not allowed to talk about.
>>

>>29043435
The single ENTP (so far) in the thread here. Lying comes naturally to me. I have the outward persona of an alpha chad that never fails to get a girl, but in reality I'm a permavirgin and I don't know what sex is even like outside of porn. Thank fuck no one's been smart enough to dare me to actually go off and show my "skills".

>>29043439
I guess, but when it's about doing something I like then I will have more attention into it. I just can't get into boring shit or shit that I've already proven myself in. This college paper is for english, I already have the best grade there out of all my class so I don't feel like I have anything to prove. Even if my grade lowers because I half-ass it in the end, it doesn't really bother me.

This is for OP who is genuinely curious, just skip my three posts if you dont like long shit, no tl;dr.
As kids theyre usually social and playful but have activities and hobbies that seperate them apart from other kids, and its usually observable. When i was a kid i used to smash rocks in heavy duty plastic bags with a hammer just to see what they were like out of curiosity. I ended up having dozens of them and collected rare rocks. This was all with nobody motivating me to do so and i was like 7. From an early age you start to build a bank of knowledge of the world to be organized in your brain. I also legit enjoyed reading and liked palying certain video games alone while my friends wanted to play them together and watch. FPS i didnt mind playing with friends because it was more fun but single players i hated playing with others and would lock myself in my room. As time goes on you pick up more things that show flares of intelligence and you grow more isolated and awkward with your peers. I remember being 10 and rearranging my furniture every couple of months into unique set ups in my room and my mom being impressed and telling my aunts how smart i was. I did it because it just seemed right not for anyones approval. Around 13 you start to become more aware that people and things are different. You understand that people are shallow gossipers who cant keep secrets and even the ugly ones for some reason that you assumed would be better people are just the same as the attractive popular kids, you cant figure out how that happened but you become more aware of the system of normies without ever knowing the concept of normies. I would say good morning to and bye to and make small talk to the mentally handicapped full on autismo guy on the bus every day because few of the other kids would and the group consensus would be to stay away from him..

>>
>This is for OP who is genuinely curious, just skip my three posts if you dont like long shit, no tl;dr.

2/3

By 15 you start to pull more isolated inwards even if youre still social because of highschools forced socializing, your mind is developing like a fortress from normies, you develop high morality and high subconscious ethics and philosophy for your age that breeds independence, all the while you witness with disgust and confusion how ritualistic and blindingly conformative normies are as they dance semi madly semi trance like to the latest hip hop songs on the gymnasium floor of a school spirit assembly, dancing sourounded by peering eyes as the audience starts to join in and so do councilors and the teachers do to be cool and hip, theyre apart of this illusion. And you just sit there. Without moving. I dont know what most INTJs do at this point because i havent studied it, whether they make strides to integrate with society seeing that theyre different and its better to be the same. Or they do what i did, silently and slowly fortitude your wall away from mainstream society. It was sub conscious when I did it, didnt hang out with the popular kids when I could have since my brother was an extrovert chad and i could have hung out with him, because fuck them. I hated their sense of higher being and i wanted none of it. Hated the system of people orginzation and exclusion at lunch and snack where groups stuck together based on social hierachy and shallow pretenses, the system that was put into place decades before the current kids following it and I wanted none of it.

Over the next few years i slowly walled off myself from mainstream normies, retreating into my inner functions as an INTJ, living inside my head, starting to organize a crude view of the world studying the hobbies and autistic stuff that intersted me and doing good without trying in school then doing bad with not caring in school. Social life started to decline at school, didnt go to any dances, relations with friends from middle school where it was more recent started to fade ad we matured differently, but I found friends from work who were older and a breath of fresh air from the normie swarm of highschool. Post highschool 18-22 and 22 onward can go a lot of different ways so I wont talk about specifics just generalizes the maturing. I think at this point INTJs start to solidify the world view of normies. By now you have a huge bank of knowledge to draw from that translates into other areas of your life and it seems like normies never even bothered to create. By this Its clear that things are different and your psychology and the psychology of those like you dont mesh with the mainstream. You begin to feel isolated a little just by sheer number of relatable people, social things start to bother you more and more unless its with the right people, and depending on this factor and maybe the choices the INTJ made earlier in life to integrate sooner or not shows how much they integrate as adults into finding their place or not. Idk thats the best i can do right now, it could use a lot of refinement but i just typed this in one go

then lose the job when reality kicks down their unreal sandcastle built on that foundation of lies.

> in elementary school with one friend, obviously chronically lonely because we're both each others' only friend
> lie about no homework in order to spend time playing dank mid-90's SNES /PC videogames.
> highschool seperates us and he later moves away
> try to pull same shit in highschool despite no friends and videogames arn't good substitutes for friends
> asshole teacher shits on mom and her "bad parenting" for my drop in grades
> get chewed out
> at the time realise that mom got upset because i lied and because the teacher was an asshole
of course now so much later on, i realise that it goes far deeper than that: schools can grade teachers based on student performance. school funding is based on student test scores. being forced into summer school (didn't happen thankfully) would've caused a bunch of shit like being driven there each day, school teachers, maintence... fucking electrical bill.
all because of the want to not be bored or lonely and a series of lies to avoid those things.

when dominoes fall, they make noise.
when a lie collapses, there is collateral damage.
so you lied on an application; you've taken the spot of someone who could've been honest. the employer goes through emotional responses to being betrayed. time and money is wasted, including your own. if the job is "important" enough you could get action from the law... and it's all shit, because the system is setup to force your need of a job for sustenance.
a dishonest system corrupting the honest.

I can relate to this, I can smell a liar from miles away and it disgusts me. People think most INTJs are edgy and don't give a fuck but we just think way more than a lot of people and can't quite empathize with others, people think I'm heartless but I've learned a lot about feelings by interacting with others.

I must say that the worst part of being an INTJ is that you find yourself bored and alone most of the time but sometimes I just can't quite grasp if I'm happy being alone or if I'm lonely.

Also as time goes by I feel more and more at ease with the world but also sad, idk how to word it
>>
>>29045723
The reason they think we're edgy is because we say how it is and don't lie to make others feel better.
What they don't get is that honesty is a sign of respect and a way of objectively trying to help the person.

Theres only 2% of you (INTJ) in the world and you werent designed to fit in with most of the other world. Youre the smartest group, the most independent, the most okay with being alone, authority means nothing you you, creativity and innovation are your tools. INTJs are hyper intelligent lone wolves.

Lol I never heard of it as the Khan gene. Thats nowhere near true but funny.

They care more about learning than they do about people. They would choose living with a dog or pet they raised since a pupper over 99% of people.

I am a ENFP female who used to date an INTJ male who barely had time for me
>>

Can confirm. I'm dating this girl and I only see her once a week even though she lives a few floors down from me. Thankfully she is a workaholic so it works out.
>>
MFW people trying to "redpill" about life as an INTJ go on to describe classical social problems that are symptomatic of people with autism spectrum disorder.

the difference is that non-autismo INTJs (inb4 oxymoron) are aware of their social ineptness but don't give a fuc

>INTJ's are autistic!
That's INTP's. We can think three-dimensionally.

Just did the test - INTJ

What does this mean? For my everyday life and for my political views

>T. nationalist libertarian

Speak for yourself. INTP/ENTP reporting in. I rarely comment because these people are more often than not complete degenerates.

This.

Nothing ITT reflects the self-awareness you ascribe to them. If they reply as if their social ineptitude wasn't a thing, you can only assume they are not aware of it.

We are in control here.

Everything you see is an illusion carefully crafted by the INTJ puppet masters who secretly control this pitiful world.

You are nothing but filthy roaches.
