RECAP
You are Natalya Ilyushin, a non-Girtablilu scorpiongirl. Set in Russia during WW2 where everyone is a monster girl. You were fired from your job at as a mercenary after killing your comrades in a botched mission. After wasting your days away in a pub, you decide to do some freelancing, taking odd jobs that people post on the town board.
Presently, you've entered a homeless community located under an overpass to bring a hellhound, the best friend of an ogre you murdered, to a doctor. You currently have a truce, but you aren't sure she'll keep her word.
CURRENT INVENTORY:
20,800 rubles
1 x Mosin-Nagant. Iron sights.
10 x 5 round stripper clips
1 x Leaflet for a cage fight
1 x Locket containing striking blue hair
1 x Brown Leather Wallet
1 x Trolley
CURRENT JOBS
Guard for a shipment of missiles to Tskov, a town 15 kilometers east. payment tbd on safe arrival of missiles.
A time sensitive job. All you know is that you have to meet behind the munitions factory. 50000 ruble reward.
A fight club at the bar. Paid 30% of earnings from bets.
How does she hold weapons?
Hands inside claws
You head to the munitions factory, using the trolley as a means of transport. You speed through the area using the sidewalks, arriving at the factory in around 20 minutes.
You don't notice anything out of the ordinary from the front entrance. Gun in hand, you move cautiously around to the back, eyeing the rooftop and the bushes lining the side. You don't see anything, but a very strong metallic smell fills your sinuses, and you hear buzzing, like it's coming from a horde of flies. You turn the corner.
The ground and walls stained with blood, the grass no longer green, the walls no longer cement grey, but now both red-brown from blood that hasn't fully oxidized yet.

You keep your cool. This might be a bit much but nothing you haven't experienced before. you have the presence of mind to remember to load your rifle. The sound of the rounds getting loaded into the internal magazine and the stripper clip pinging as it falls off makes you realise how eerily quiet it was before.
You hear a grunt and some movement from the fair end of the building. Looks like the noise attracted some unwanted attention.
A Centaur appears, hide slick and dripping with blood. She roars and starts charging at you.

You take aim and fire a shot. Immediately you lose sense of the world, your vision blurs and you can't hear anything. As you regain your senses, you're rag dolled by the sliding body of the centaur, sending both of you into the wall. Thanks to the carapace on your head, the impact doesn't jar you as much as it should have. Only able to hear high pitch ringing, and your vision still slightly blurry you fight to get the centaur off you, but she doesn't seem to be keen on the idea. You kick, you push and you roll around, trying to fight of this centaur.
Eventually you fight yourself free, staggering a bit as you stand up. You ready your stinger, poised to strike. Except, the centaur doesn't move. Cautiously you approach, tentatively prodding her with your stinger, trying to elicit a reaction. Nothing happening, you roll her body over and find the bullets' entry wound, entering and exiting her neck. the blood still flows.
Covered in mud and alot of blood, you take some time to fully regain your senses.
What do you do now?
>>111494
Ah, the throat, the most vulnerable region of a humanoid body. I suppose we should search the body for clues. If that fails to turn up anything, start searching the area for anything of note.
>>111494
Look around to check if she has friends waiting in ambush, if not then quickly loot the centaur and maybe check on her pulse to see if she is still alive.
>>111494
You spin around, tail lashing out. You grievously wound the air. No one has come to aid this centaur, but you are still wary. You approach the area where the centaur emerged from, walking close to the building, stinger at the ready. Nearing the corner, you take a deep breath and cross it.

For the second time today, you have to hold back vomit, you drop your gun and use your hands to keep your mouth shut. A little bit comes out. You swallow it and try your best to take in the scene.
A veritable pile of bodies mutilated beyond recognition, swarms of flies feasting on the flesh.
You close your eyes and look away, nothing in your years of experience could have prepared you for this.
You take some time to collect yourself.
Opening your eyes, it seems to you that the centaur was in the middle of loading the bodies into a van.
You cannot fathom what transporting these bodies would achieve.
Roll another d100, do you still manage to keep your cool?

You've had enough vomiting for today. You pick your gun back up and look in the back of the van, amidst the bodies, haphazardly thrown around, you find a double-handed sword, guess you found the murder weapons. You trudge past the bodies, flies flying into every orifice they can find, to the front of the van, you search the driver and passenger area. You find the keys in the ignition and a note. it reads, "More will come, be patient." How odd.
Moving back to the centaur, you search her body for anything useful. You find a single pill in a pill bottle and nothing else.
Frustrated that you can't find any clues, you start thinking what this could all mean.
Wait a minute, you didn't search the pile of bodies.
Rolled 41 (1d100)
>>111599
Search the pile of dead bodies
>>111609
You walk back to the pile of bodies, maybe there's one of them has something that might be a clue. You move one of the bodies. it squelches and slides onto the ground. The sound sends a shiver down your spine. moving the body releases a a smell so terrible and noxious you vomit on the spot. A mixture of the metallic smell of blood, fecal matter, urine and sweat, you run back to the centaur to escape the smell. The smell lingers within your nasal cavities. You vomit again.
Searching the pile of bodies won't be happening.
What do you do now?
>>111647
Yeah, that fairy's gonna be pissed once she finds out we ruined her operation here. Let's steal the van and fuck off back to town.
>>111683
You think that having a van would be better transport than that trolley.
But you're not sure you have to mental fortitude to go back to that area, the stench most likely still lingers there. Plus, how are you going to drive around town with a bloody van with bodies in the back?
>>111683
Let's alert Eva and also loot the centaur.
>>111707
take the pill, dump bodies out of van. Laugh manically
>>111772
Let's consult with a doctor for the pills
so what're we doin? taking the pill seems agreed upon, but are we going crazy or going back to Eva
>>111814
I say we put the pill bottles in our inventory along with anything we can loot from the centaur and go back to Eva on our trolley and discuss what to do with the fairy.
>>111825
Seconding this. Seems to be the more reasonable decision

You've had enough of this miniature hell on Earth, you do another search of the centaur but you can't find anything other than the pill in the pill bottle.
You move to mount back up on your trolley, except, you're still covered head to toe in blood and mud.
Do you put your faith in the collective apathy of the USSR or...
Also if you're wondering why no one notices all this going on, it's because the munitions factory is abandoned. should've mentioned that. in a dilapidated part of the city.

You exit the way you came, leaving the bodies and the trolley behind. You look around for people before quickly running over to the nearest house. As you approach, it looks like the windows and doors are boarded up. You stalk the perimeter of the house, still wary of others.
You find a window where the boards are broken, making for fairly easy access to the house. Looters must have gotten here first. The house is dusty, appropriate, seeing as its been abandoned. You find the bathroom and hope to god the water system is still active.
You turn on the tap. You rejoice! Water flows. You find something to plug the sink and start collecting the water. Slowly but surely you manage to clean your body of the blood, and you get the worst of the stains out of your clothing. You squeeze the clothing dry and let it hang off the sink.
You turn around.
Standing in the doorway is an Elf, no older than 12.
She gives you a shy wave.
What do you do?
And that's all for tonight, thank's for reading and participating!
>>112048
Take the pill, Kill the girl, put her body in the van, drive to eva :D
>>112048
Tell her that you are a bath inspector and that you were checking if this one worked. If that doesn't work, let the rubles talk and give her a few to silence her
Kill the girl and bring her body in the bloody van back to rva or placate her with money?
>>114324
Placate her with money. I don't want to have the blood of children on our hands. Plus that would really not help with our psyche now would it?
>>114324
Placate her with a lie and money.
>>114882

>>115137

>>115148
>>115137
A thought enters your head, maybe you both could benefit from this meeting.
You offer to feed her, in exchange for letting you stay in this house.
You continue to look at each other.
Slowly and softly, she tells you that this isn't her house, she just heard some noise and went to check it out. She looks to the ground and tells you, softer than before almost to the point of inaudibility, that she wouldn't mind some food.
>>115219
Eh, why not. Just make her promise not to tell anyone about this and we buy her some food.
>>115253

>>115253
Sounds good, maybe after this we could introduce her to Eva's group of hobos, I beat she could use a safety net.
>>115316

>>115253
>>115219
You squat down and tell her that you'll get her some food but you make her promise not to tell anyone about this.
She says OK.
Cool. You tell her to stay put while you go search for some place to buy food.
You leave through the same window and you go searching for a convenience store or something. After some walking around you spy a petrol kiosk in the distance.
You walk towards it but you hear some rustling behind you.
You tense and ready yourself.

You go to pay and the cashier looks mildly annoyed that you disturbed her. 330 rubles poorer, you exit the store and head back to the house.
On the way back you hear some scraping and shuffling. Someone's following you and you don't like it. For the second time you get ready to strike.

Again you turn around, this time however you manage to catch your stalker. Your muscles relax as you lock eyes with that little elf girl. you beckon for her to come over and she does. You offer your hand to hold, delicately she holds it. She eyes the plastic bag containing the food but she doesn't make a move for it. She mentions that she doesn't like being alone.
You both walk back to the house peacefully.
You let her crawl through the windows first. You pull up two chairs and a table, dust them off and invite her to sit. You sit opposite her and pass her the milk, yogurt and sandwich. She whispers a thank you and carefully consumes her food., taking small bits of a sandwich here and there, a sip of milk every now and then. You finish your sandwich in about three bites. She finishes her food and offers you a smile, with both her mouth and eyes.
She thanks you.
You ask her if she has anyone else, like parents or siblings. Her face turns neutral, tinged with melancholy. She tells you that she can't remember her parents, the only thing she can remember were a pair of Blue Onis that took care of her, but when the war started they abandoned her. She's been alone for about half a year, surviving off scraps she finds in bins.
You have both finished your food.
>>115517
Hm. I'd like to informally adopt this girl, but we ain't in the best of circumstances to do so, I feel.
We could be a gritty detective trying to drink away the horrible sights he has witnessed. Having found the names of the creatures that hide in the dark. The Eldrich terrors we forget after being children. But nope. Monster girls.

Hug the girl, claim the price for the centaur andfuck bitches
>>115554
>>115538
awww thanks guys
but what're we doing now? Adopting her, bringing her back to Eva?
>>115554
hugging her is nice, but what's this about claiming the price for the centaur?
>>115565
Perhaps the fairy wanted us to assassinate the centaur or it was a blind man's letter scenario.
We should think about revenge against the fairy.
>>115565
Take her back to Eva, we're leaving town in the morning so we're not going to be around all that much. Plus we need to sort out this mess with the Fairy and the Centaur.
First, we need some wheels, either our glorious cart or the van if the pile of corpses can be removed. Then let's bring elfkid back to Eva's camp and get the doc to stitch us up a bit. Then spend the night sharing vodka and telling Eva about what happened.
>>115565
So there isn't a 50k Rubles reward for the time-sensitive job behind the abandoned munition factory?Maybe we should have checked the working munition factory...
Also hug the girl again because we can.
>>115598
lets just ret con and say that the fairy specified this specific munitions factory.
>>115578
could you elaborate on what a blinds man letter scenario is?
>>115607
Basically blind man asks a woman to deliver a letter to somewhere, and the place turns out to be a trap to murder people sent there for meat.
>>115621
That does seem to be exactly what we walked into, isn't it. We should get the doctor at Eva's camp to tell us what sort of pills we found on the centaur were.
>>115517
You stand up out of your chair and give her a hug.
She reciprocates.
You tell her that you know of a whole community of people like her. You tell her you have a friend there that will take care of her.
She looks unsure as she partially breaks away from the hug.
How do you go about trying to persuade her to come with you to the overpass?
>>115632
With food.Or by force.
>>115632
"There'll be someone to take care of you."
>>115643
bruh
>>115632
You don't, ask her to take it or leave it.
>>115645
We got a lot of options with this girl.
We could adopt her and leave behind our lives as mercenaries.
We could train her, because elfs are natural good with longbows (therefore she could make a great marksmen)
We could just dump her at hobo camp and carry on.
We could not take her to hobo camp, give her some Rubles and wish her luck.We could sell her to an underground elf sex trader. They would pay big bucks for a virgin orphan elf girl.Or we could put a bullet in her brain to stop the suffering of losing her two blue onis and give her a proper life in heaven.
>>115663
I'm voting for hobo camp and telling her she'll have a home and family.
>>115663
>last two options
>>115663
We could use her as meat shield, taking the heat off us during missions
>>115677
I'm between hobocamp and training her.
Or maybe we could pay a marksmen/martial arts master to train her. I'm insisting on the natural warrior abilities of elfs.Or maybe healing ones. It would a great idea to have a healer in our party.also elf girls are C U T E
>>115690
this is just an alt ww2 where everyones a monster girl, no healing or magiks and stuff.
>>115692
Well, maybe not healing as in magical healing powers, but as a natural gift to how to heal and treat injuries and stuff. Just like in REAL LIFE where some people tend to be better than others in things.
Also I was considering that just like that some monster girls are better than other monster girls in some other stuffs. Like Birdgirls being good at flying planes, or Monkey girls being good at gorilla warfare or just dumbshit like that.
And thats why I was considering training the elfgirl.
>>115704
oh, yeah in that case thats cool. so we have a fair amount of suggestions which is good, but no agreement yet,
>>115690
I say we drop her off at the hobocamp and train her in between missions. That way she get's looked after by a community while we get to go off and do actual mercenary things.
>>115709
All say hobo camp:
>>115713
>>115678
>>115666
>>115658
>>115644
We can train her between missions or just drop that for peace sake.
>4chan in charge of taking care of a little girl
Also we need to get our cart back, reload (probably) deal with the fairy, help our other injured friend, guard some missiles, get money, fight people and found peace in ourselves. Also the little grill doesn't have a name yet.
>>115725
well yeah but that was before your whole list of options. gimme some time then.
>>115728
Being honest wasn't expecting anyone to take that laundry list completely serious. Especially the last two options.
Also, end the bread with a recap of facts.
>>115632
You pull her back into the hug and tell her that she won't go hungry if she stays at the camp, telling her that your friend, Eva, and the good doctor will look after her.
She whispers into your shoulder, "OK, I'll go."
You exit through the window again and...

You retrieve your trolley from the front of the munitions factory, making sure that she doesn't see the blood and bodies.
You tell her to get on and hold tight, this is going to be speedy.
You finally see that sparkle in her eyes, one that children should have. she gets on, facing forward, arms hooked around the base of the handles. You tell her to brace herself.
You take off, starting at a walking pace, slowly increasing to jogging before full on running.
She squeals in delight as you race through the streets, narrowly avoiding pot holes here and there. The wind and the sound of the wheels rolling over the road is quite noisy, but she doesn't seem to care. Her hair flies around as she opens her mouth to catch the wind.
You slow down as you see the camp, the gravel and dirt doesn't isn't suitable for HIGH SPEED. You stop where the road ends. You take some time to catch your breath as the elf girl collects herself. She looks exhilarated.
She hugs you around the waist and tells you that that was amazing, she's never experienced anything like that in her life! You notice that she's breathing hard as well.
You notice that you don't know her name yet. You ask her for her name, while introducing yourself.
She tells you that the Blue Onis named her Katya. She isn't sure what her last name is.
You pat her on her head and usher her towards camp, your trusty trolley in tow.
As you near the camp, the Red Oni stops you and asks you who this girl is.

You Olga tell her the truth, that you found her alone in an abandoned house and thought that it would be a good idea to bring her back here. Katya nods to corroborate your story.
Olga lets you pass, scrunching her nose up as you pass her. You still reek of the stench of death.
You make your way back to the Ludya, the doctor, passing by the same people, getting the same looks.
Ludya notices you and the child and invites you in to her makeshift clinic. You notice that Eva isn't here anymore.
You introduce Ludya to Katya, telling her the story of how you two came to meet. Ludya smiles sadly and tells Katya that everything will be better now. Katya smiles back.
You ask Ludya if the offer to patch you up still stands. She smiles and says yes, she would be more than happy to help a friend of Eva.
She disinfects the various scrapes, cuts and scratches that you have, applying gauze and medical dressing to cover them up. She also applies some sort of cream to your bruises.
After being tended to, Ludya examines Katya for anything wrong. Aside from a mild case of malnutrition , she seems to be in good health. Satisfied that you are both tended to, Ludya asks Katya if she would wait outside for a while. Katya looks at you, waiting for your input.
You tell her it's OK, you were going to ask her to do the same actually. With Katya outside, you pull out the pill bottle and pour out the single pill onto your hand. Inside the bottle it appeared to be a plane pill, coloured orange by the plastic but outside you see now that it's a white pill with fairly intricate engraving on it, with the letters "П·C·M" in the middle. You ask her if she could identify the pill.
She picks it up between her index finger and thumb and looks at it closely. She says no, she doesn't know what it is. She asks you where you found it.
What do you tell her?

She looks at you again, studying your face. after a while she seems satisfied that you're telling the truth and lets you go. She asks if there is anything else you need and you mention that you would like a shovel. She looks at you quizzically but doesn't question you. She pokes her head outside and asks someone to pass you a shovel. You thank her.
Before you leave, she hands you a bar of soap. She tells you to go and clean yourself, you smell really bad. She tells you ask Eva where the showers are.
You thank her, embarrassed, you leave. Katya holds your hand the moment you appear. Someone passes you a sturdy full-length shovel. Shovel and Katya in hand, what do you do now?

You decide that seeing Eva can wait a while. Having the van as a mode of transport will be a big increase over your trolley. Though it has served you admirable, it is time for an upgrade.
Shovel in your left hand you.. oh yeah, Katya is still holding your right hand.
You ask around for Eva's location and eventually you make it to her little corrugated iron home. Her arms have been righted, with splints attached. She looks slightly drowsy, they might have given her some drugs for the pain. Her nose immediately crinkles as she smells you, no doubt able to pick up on the finer scents that are on you. You introduce her to Katya and vice versa.
Eva tells you that she hasn't said anything incriminating you. You thank her, but warn her that Ludya is starting to get suspicious. Eva looks at you judgmentally as you tell her that you messed up the story. She asks you what you the job was and if you got the money,
Do you tell Eva what happened?
>>117680
suddenly everyone in the USSR starts using Fahrenheit to measure temperature, but only for water. At least the hobos are hot.
>>117685
Eva deserves to know that she could have ended in a pile of bodies. Effectively we saved her life twice. Tell her our current plan of stealing the van for ourselves.Or for the hobocamp!
Also make Katya gain Eva trust. Katya could be Eva's arms in the meantime.

You tell Eva what happened back at the munitions factory.
You tell her about how the blood soaked the ground and stained the walls, how the hordes of flies filled the air with a perpetual buzzing sound and you describe the smell, faeces and urine intermingling with the festering scent of viscera.
Eva looks horrified as she tries to imagine the scene.
Lastly you tell her about the centaur that was loading the bodies into a van, and how you killed her with a shot to the neck.
She asks if she should thank you for breaking her arms.

You tell her that yes, she should thank you. you did effectively save her life twice now.
She chortles and expresses her gratitude to you breaking both her arms.
You tell her that you intend you retrieve the van and that Katya should stay here, that area is not fit for anybody, let along a small child. She agrees to take care of her until you return.
You thank her and tell Katya to get to know Eva better as you head off to see to something.
She says no, she overhead your plan and wants to come along.
Dammit, you didn't make sure couldn't hear.
She tells you that she knows what happened, She hid behind a window as she watched all these people start streaming into the back of the munitions factory. She heard the screams and the silence that followed.
She's quite adamant that she wants to go.
Roll along with how you want to handle this.please nothing like chaining her up

You tell her that compromise is an integral part of living in a community, a series of gives and takes, that doing something just because you want to isn't always the the best thing to do. You tell her that she cannot imagine what is behind that munitions factory. She overhead what you told Eva, she knows what you saw and smelled, you say that it is not a place fit for a child. Inwardly, you're unsure if even you could handle it.
She stubbornly shakes her head, tells you that she wants to stick with you, doesn't want to leave your side. She hugs your waist tightly.
Fuck.

Silence reigns as Katya thinks hard about what Eva says.
She nods her head and says, "Ok, i'll stay here with Eva. Come back quick."
You smile and tell her you will.
Eva tells her that if she wants to follow you everywhere, she needs to learn how to handle herself on the streets. She offers to teach her how to fight, along with the more nuanced and subtle things that one needs to know, maybe teach her how to handle a knife or something.
What do you say? Do you want a mini-me?
>>121691

You smirk to yourself as you walk off.

You give them the OK. Katya throws her arms up in the air and Eva flashes you a smile. She assures you that she'll take things slow and steady.
You leave with your shovel and mosin-nagant. You find some scraps of cloth on the ground and attach it to the gun, you side sling it.
Half way to the munitions factory, you realise that you are walking and not rolling. Dammit you forgot the trolley.
You reach the trolley and you find that everything is as you left it, the blood has fully oxidised now, walls now brown and the centaurs blood congealed into a jelly like substance.
And you see the van, the bodies still there, festering.

looks like we dont need to. But if i call for a roll and you find a way to circumvent it i'm more than happy to accept that if its reasonable.
Currently we have:
20,470 Rubles
A Mosin_Nagant with a sling made of tattered cloth, loaded with 4 rounds. No scope.
9 x 5 round stripper clips
1 x leafelet for a cage fight
1 x locket containing striking blue hair (fuck i forgot about this)
1 x Brown leather waller (fuck i forgot about this to)
1 x Shovel
Don't worry ill work the locket and wallet into the story
>>121959
Maybe we should return Eva her wallet and the locket. But after we recover the van.And make it look like a Dekotora truckEven if the hair belongs to the Blue Oni that hired us to kill the ogre. She's not a threat anymore with 2 broken arms and she's now our friend/Ally/babysitter.
>>121966
>USSR
>Dekotora
>>121966
yeah, makes more sense at this point to just give it back, it's certainly more useful to Eva than us. What do we need a wallet for when can easily carry over 20,000 roubles in our chitinous pockets?
>>121951
>>121884
You take a deep breath and calm yourself. You walk towards the van and the smell is alot less than what it was before. The corpses seem to be on the verge of freezing solid, the cold must have inhibited the smell.
You work fast, wary of any unwanted attention. You shovel the stiff bodies out of the van, picking up small parts out of the nooks and crannies of the van.
Cool, you got the bodies out, now that leaves the blood.
>>121988
Okay OP, how much blood is there on the outside of the van? If there isn't any there we can just drive to somewhere with running water and bleach.
>>121973
Fine.So let's stance this motherfucker.
>>121988
Since Unibody vans were only used by the capitalist pigs in America, we think that dropping the entire vanbox would be the best idea and drive around only with a cabin and the empty frame. That could have saved us the time to clean the van tho.
>>121998
the entire inside and back doors are covered in blood.
>>122001
oooooh, that van looks alot more authentic than the one i was planning on using.
This is how the van looks.
>>122003
so no doors than, just the back, mud flaps and stuff.
>>122006
Well, I know about trucks.
Dodge, Ford, Chevrolet and Citroen (Maybe I'm missing a few but it's 3 am) used a body on frame Unibody (where the floor of the cabin is shared with the cargo. Think of a modern Econoline or trucks like that.)
But Russians in the other hand, were making trucks that looked like this. Because cheaper and easier to reuse them. Just swap the back and presto.
Maybe we all were picturing a van like this.
But these are American made or only found in the Western front.
>>122013
Authenticity! thanks for telling me, i was imagining like a fedex van or something i dunno why.
>>122010
All we need to do then is cover up the back entrance or otherwise any surface actually covered in blood. With that being the case we could just take the canvas over the flatbed down and use it to cover up any bloodstains on the floor. That way it won't look like the inside of Samuel Jackson's car after Marvin got shot in the face, and we can drive it somewhere to conveniently wash the bloodstains away in private.
>>122021
We can go to the camp get some metal buckets.
Then we heat the water and pour it on the blood
get water from girls house or camp
>>122028
Bro, have you ever tried to wash blood out of or off of anything? Shit stains harder than red wine.
>>122028
>>122026
>>121988
You untie the tarp from the back and use it to cover up a majority of the stains, tying it to various hooks and metal bars. You fold and tuck the corners of the tarp that's bloody. you notice that the khaki colour of the tarp and the oxidised blood don't look like anything more than stains that one might resonably accrue when moving out in the field.
Satisfied that the tarp won't budge, you enter the drivers compartment and turn the key in the ignition.
It roars to life!
You take off down the road back to the camp, maybe you could get some water heated up and wash the blood away.
As you drive down the street, wind blowing through your hair as you roll the windows down, you genuinely feel happy. Until you lock eyes with a fairy walking towards the
The same fairy that looked upon your crumpled body lying in the middle of the road and did nothing. She stops and turns her head to look at you impassively. You hope nothing comes of this.
You return back to the camp and everyone looks at you. Olga walks up to you and remarks that she likes your ride. She looks down the back and raises an eyebrow. You tell her not to ask questions.
You drive the truck into camp and park it in an empty space.
Ludya approaches you and you ask her if it would be possible for you to acquire some buckets to to heat some water in, so you could wash the blood off.
She tells you that it isn't so easy to wash blood off, you need special chemicals to get rid of the stains.
She offers to take the vehicle off your hands for a while and wash it for you, telling you that you can check up on Eva and Katya in the meanwhile.
>>122071I was picturing we would run down the fairy with our truck just like in Pulp Fiction. Oh well, missed opportunity.
Check Eva and Katya. Return Wallet and smile at the small, broken, and weird family you got now.
>>122083
I was imagining that the truck would be going too fast for you to stop. in my head i was thinking that you lock eyes for a second, and before you could react you're already zooming past.
>>122071
Isn't the blood frozen?
Also the blood is on bare metal. Surely will come off.
>>122071
>Dat pic
Tee fucking hee OP, let's hand back Eva's stuff and spend some time telling about our new ride and getting to know her. Maybe over some vodka, like true daughters of the motherland.
>>122071
Why do we want that particular van anyway? That shit is gonna get us in trouble.
>>122086
>>122083
>>122071
You smile and thank her, you swap places and she drives the van off.
You walk to Eva's shack and find Katya sitting on the floor while Eva lectures her on various things. Katya jumps up and gives you a hug as you enter. Eva welcomes you back and nonchalantly asks for her locket and wallet back.
You forgot you were carrying them around. You immediately hand them to her, adding that you didn't even check the contents of the wallet. She pockets the wallet and wears the locket. She thanks you.
Katya excitedly tells you the lessons she learned from Eva, how to approach a fight, how to deal with people and things of that nature. You're unsure if it's a good thing that she's so enthusiastic about this, what happened to the innocence of childhood?
You sit down with Katya on the floor and tell them about the truck you got. Eva seems impressed, she complements you on the acquisition. Katya whoops. You mention that Ludya's washing it at the moment, to get rid of the blood.
Katya leans on you and immediately remarks that you still stink. Your eyes widen in surprise as you remember that you still need to shower. You ask Eva where the showers are. She gives you a weird smile and gives you directions. Before you leave she hands you a bucket, some matches and some rags.
You take your small bar of soap and make your way to the showers and find that it's a small corrugated metal building with various bags hoisted up unto a metal bar. There's a hose and a metal bin filled with wood in the corner, there are metal bars placed on the bin.
Guess it's time to get to work. You fill the metal bucket with water and light the wood. It takes a few matches. You place the bucket on the bars and wait for the water to heat up. Once it reaches a comfortable temperature, you empty the bucket into a bag and repeat the process.
You take your clothes off and place them in the bucket. The warm water feels heavenly when contrasted with the cold weather. You soap up and wash every single part of your body to get rid of the blood stains and smell. Finishing up you dry yourself by the fire and put your clothes back on.
What do you decide to do now?

Well, for being a COLD BLOODED ASSASSIN in WW2 that MURDERED HER OWN COWORKERS, I thought we (she?) Could have a bit more of endurance during the war effort. Yeah, dead bodies are fucking gross, but it's probably not the first time we have seen something like this. (Even if we puked)
>>122320
It wasn't so much that we saw some people who happened to be dead, we saw mangled fucking piles of human (or monster) meat so rank they may as well have been laying in the desert sun for 2 days. The smell alone coming off of that pool of gore and viscera that used to be people was what as so overwhelming, the sight of the flies crawling through every orifice and their maggot spawn gorging themselves on the rotting flesh and shit from their exposed bowels simply contributed to the disgust. That's a wee bit different from seeing a fresh corpse still intact aside from a bullet wound the size of a quarter, you know?

Don't want to disparage your quest so far, but injecting a bit of life into the scenery is always a good thing if you want to draw your playerbase in, I find.
I think it might be too jarring of a writing style change if i add more information. i contemplate it with every post but i don't want them to be too long, lest they bore the reader. maybe when we go to Tskov i can try it out.
>>122209
>>122225
You head back to Eva's shacks, you don't notice that many people around except for some individuals, garbed in thick clothing, standing around barrel fires, warming their hands and chatting, probably inside their individual shacks, makeshift doors closed.
You enter to find Eva teaching Katya more lessons. She crawls under your arms to sit on your lap as you sit cross-legged on the cloth Eva uses as a makeshift flooring. Katya gives you a big sniff and tells you that you smell great. You lace your arms around her stomach and ...
Get interrupted by the ringing of a bell. Eva gets up and tells you that that means dinner is ready. She picks up a wooden bowl and spoon off the floor and tells you to follow her. You find streams of people all heading the same direction, you did not anticipate this many people being here. You estimate maybe 150 to 200 people.
You hold Katya's shoulders, keeping her in front of you as Eva leads you onward. You bump into people as you walk, some say sorry, other's tell you to watch your step., but the majority don't even take notice. The lighting gets better as you get closer to the kitchen, the torches closer together as opposed to the big spaces they had before.
You notice a line is starting to form and Eva hurriedly tries to get as close to the front as she can. As you walk faster, a fight breaks out at the front. Before it can escalate Ludya's voice cuts through the night, stopping the fight and murmurs of disapproval. She loudly announces that no fighting will be tolerated in this camp, she orders everyone to queue up in a single file or else dinner will be cancelled.
The line straightens. Hands still on Katya you shuffle forward. You hear some shouts as the first girls start to get served, you can barely make it out but it sounds like something about a lack of meat. Ludyas voice silences them.
After some time you reach the front of the line. Eva steps to one side to let Katya go first. she offers you an apologetic smile. You hand the cat-girl serving the food Eva's bowl and she pours what looks like an attempt at mushroom solyanka, a thick, spicy and sour soup made with butter, vinegar, tomatoes, cucumber pickles, and some brine. A bun accompanies the soup.
You ask her for two bowls and spoons, as you're new and don't have any. She smiles and obliges, handing you two more bowls, soup and bread included.
The steam warms your face as you head back to Eva's shack and sit in a triangle. Katya digs into her meal, ravenous.fucking word limit
>>122516
You move closer to Eva and feed her. She seems embarrassed and ashamed that this is happening but you continue feeding her anyway. Once she's done eating, you start on yours, its lukewarm now. Still, it's filling and a good attempt considering the amount of people they have to serve.
You stack the bowls into a corner and relax with your ragtag group.
After some idle chatting about the day, you change the topic to the fairy. You mention that she's the one that was going to get her killed. You should plot your revenge.
Eva looks at Katya and asks if she should be around for this. She smacks her hand against her lap and proclaims that she's staying.
What say you?
>>122516
>>122534
I think the change is fitting the more we advance with the quest. Also your style is really comfy to read and I don't mind walls of text. (Also my ID is changing)
Katya can plot. But the execution is only ours. She's a witness and knows more about the centaur than us. She's only <12 but maybe with her description we could work out what the fairy is plotting with all those dead bodies.
>>122576
don't even know what my writing style is but thanks anon :3 also what description would that be?
>>122632
Description of the facts.
Since she was squatting at the near house, she saw the centaur and the fairy (or with someone else) parking near the factory. Then she saw how people went but never came back. (Describe the people going)or something along those lines
>>122657
>>122534
You can't bring yourself to send Katya away, you can't think of anywhere she could go to at this time of the night anyway. Eva lights a lamp and places it in the middle of the triangle and brings out some thick blankets. She drapes one over Katya and hands one to you. You wrap it around yourself.comfy level=∞[spoiiler]
You start discussing ways to exact revenge by laying out what you know of the fairy.
1) She stays at 89 GROTZKA AVENUE
2) Her skin had a grey tinge to it, her clothes simple and modest.
3) Lures people with the promise of money only to have them slaughtered.
As a group, you try your best to think of more but you soon realise that you know very little of this fairy. You ask Katya about what she saw at the munitions factory.
She creases her brow as she tries to remember.
She saw a truck arrive in the morning and disappear to the back of the munitions factory and after some time, she noticed a lot of girls start appearing, all moving to the back of the munitions factory. Some more time passed and when people stopped coming, the screaming started. She says you arrived around 30 minutes after the screams stopped.
Katya looks slightly distraught as she recalls the memories. You shuffle over and hold her in your arms. You ask her what the girls looked like.
She says that they didn't look out of the ordinary, just normal citizens. Some looked better armed, carrying guns or various melee weapons, pipes and hammers and whatnot.
Not much useful information there, you frown as you continue to think.
Eva, frustrated at the lack of progress, says that we should just go to her house tomorrow and deal with her there.
What do you say?
>>122849
i fucked up
>>122849
Tell her that the fairy saw us while driving the van.
We should also think about changing our appearance.
