The old OP has died. I am taking over.
Rules:
No autism
You get 6 territories and 25 points for the stats chart.
To claim a country:
-Save in .png
-Edit from the previous anon
-Don't zoom in and crop a certain part
You may only roll once per turn
When a player gets defeated, tech and land are split by this formula :
1v1s :
1/2 of tech and land
Team battles:
Number of players who attacked / Number of players who were attacked
When fighting, roll a 1d4. The higher roll cancels out the smaller on in a 1v1, but in a multi-way conflict with 3 or more players all rolls from the team are added up and compared against the opposing team.
The higher your Technology / Magic / Military bars are, the most likely you are going to be successful in defending / attacking.
1-4 bars : Roll 1d4
5-7 bars : Roll 2d4
8-10 bars : Roll 3d4
You can only roll for one combat stat per turn. All rolls are added up per turn.
When trading, roll a 1d20
Roll 1 : Your trade vessels are destroyed and the goods have been stolen.
Roll 2-4 : Trade went well, but some goods were lost in the process.
Roll 5-6 : Trade went without a hitch. Nothing lost.
When colonizing / expanding, roll a 1d6
Anything below 4 is an automatic failure. You can keep trying to roll for several turns if that's what you want. This is my first time doing this kind of shit so please be gentle to me
>>38220
Stats in this post. Remember, you only get 25 points for allocation. If you want to write a backstory, do so in the comment box.
>>38220
Oops. You may roll once for any action you are taking this turn - so if you are attacking and trading, you may roll once for both
May I suggest a rouge "AI" player that runs its own agenda. Those are always fun in these threads.
>>38272
Very well then. I will be the rouge AI player. Mupdate in next hour or when we have 10 people
>>38283
Is this a strictly human game?
And if you're interested, may I suggest what the AI faction is?
>>38244
If low tech/military/magic is caveman level what is the Max level? I was wondering about that last thread.
Why a new thread? Old one isn't close to going away. Are you saying we should start over?
>>38300
Sure thing, suggest away
>>38220
Claiming the same place as last game.
>>38375
Loxo. I'm sick of them not being chosen for Civ quests, and just want to watch people deal with pycho elephant ISIS.
>>38220
I'll these lands if I can.

Not sure if I'm doing this right, so if anything's wrong/too much just say the word. OP said high Tech was around steampunk levels, so I'm not sure if I went too far with it.

you're the black border, I think

See you in the morning

Let's all get a good night sleep and run in the morning.
Here's all of the countries present.
>>39460
Could you please explain what each stats do? Aside from the obvious ones like technology and population, what are the benefits of having more culture, religion, resources, and military?
Rolled 4 (1d6)
>>39506
Well I'm gonna roll to expand into the useless sand of the desert.
Then I'm really going to bed.
>>39031
>>39460
I... Uh... Already did, unless you want me to redo it.
>>39517
That was a failure.

The Chosen one has decided to move north along the coastline, bringing more land into our fold.

Build more ships to patrol my sea borders.
>>39588
All according to plan.
Rolled 1 (1d6)
>>39584
I'll go south-east and meet the Calradans, I hear the weather's nice this time of year!
>>39604
Well then. Guess my vacation's cancelled then.
>>39604
That wasn't a map update/new turn, I just fixed the format.
>>39604
MUPDATE ONE
Mauga Sinasina and the Rashilibad (poo in loo) managed to expand their territory by one.
>>39588 managed to expand his armada by a few more ships.
Also, when rolling please reply to the MUPDATE as it'll be easier on me to catalog everyone quickly.
>>39604
I took your first roll since you were confused.
>>39620
OP, I think that's Tantzyxuluco's land. Mine's the dark red.
Rolled 3 (1d6)
>>39620
I'm still awake, so I'll roll to expand again
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>39630
Oh well.
I'll keep heading south, maybe gain more leather on the way.
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>39620
The Chosen hopes that enough able men and women can be consolidated this time around.
We still see the North to be our destination.
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>39620
I guess I'll try to expand to the next island on the upper right.
>>39636
Reserving the middle of the map's mountain area
>>39643

Rolled 2 (1d6)
>>39620
Increase Army.
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>39671
Let's try again.
Expand Army.
>>39671
That mountain range next to me, is that unpassable/not ownable?
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>39671
I'll keep heading south, it's for my best interest. In other news, Mauga Sinasina's celebrating tausamiga toto! What does that mean? Put it in Google translate, it knows what I'm talking about.
Rolled 5 (1d6)
>>39671
Let's see if I can make a school for the children.
>>39683
You cannot pass it. However if you roll for a tunnel to be built it will cost you 2 turns of manpower and >4 on any 1d6 roll
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>39671
The chosen is pleased by the progress we've been making and hopes to continue just as successfully.
>Sorry for all the fuck ups. Ignore the whited out parts, this is my first time doing anything like this.
It's fine you got to start somewhere. 2bh though fampai, The rules you came up with are a bit cluttered and not very comprehensive.
You shouldn't use so many diffrent kind of dice for so many different charts (which aren't explained either) for example.
Lurking in a couple of /tg/'s game design threats may be a good Idea.
>>39675 expands his army! +1 to Military
>>39685 constructs a public school for his people, increasing knowledge!
>>39701 continues on his journey northwards.
>>39701
Alright man thanks for the tips
>>39713
That's weird. I have been saving in PNG all the time. I'll doublecheck the next time a mupdate comes
Rolled 4 (1d6)
>>39709
Expand west, Tausamiga toto needs a bit more space to be truly celebrated. To the nation of Calrada: if you pass through here, don't mind the blood.
Simply part of the festivities.
Rolled 5 (1d6)
>>39709
Begin tunneling the mountain.
Want a tunnel from my lands to that small piece between tantz and Fylgo

>>39709

>>39709
This >>39701 was for captureing pic related.
Now I'd like to either capture the next bit of the peninsula north west or recapture the first bit.
>>39731
I was burrowing before you were on the map.
I realize I don't have the schedule or time for this
>>39724 appears to be in >>39723 's way. The tunnel is halfway done.
>>39728 tries to build a church but ends up building a pond instead
>>39722 's festivities are not impeded by the lack of space, as they happily dance into another plot of land.
Rolled 5 (1d6)
>>39747
Do I have to roll for the 2nd half or just pass the turn for it to finish?
Rolled 5 (1d6)
>>39747
We'll make that pond holy then!
Rolled 4 (1d6)
>>39747
The Chosen seems to have a thing for coasts. He is painting murals of coasts all over town.
We will keep expanding on the northern peninsula. it has two coasts so it will make him twice as happy.
Rolled 1 (1d6)
>>39747
Expand south-- hey, is that Calrada? Kia ora! My people and I have been celebrating Tausamiga toto and I was wondering if you wanted to both join us and has borders together.
Keep expanding south.
Rolled 5 (1d6)
>>39776
Take the land at the end of the tunnel
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>39776
Take a day of rest and dream about our gods for inspiration
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>39776
Well. The festivities are over for the spring, and the people are hunting for food. We need to find a good fishing lake.
Expand south.
>>39776

>>39781 took some land
>>39792 devotes a day to God

Rolled 3 (1d6)
>>39817
Build walls around the land we just took.
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>39817
Make ships for trading.
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>39817
Expand the territory I have into the middle; the Kauri trees we need to save. Would anyone be willing to send a trade ship of fish over to our nation? We wouldn't usually do so, but the animals are very sneaky this year. Perhaps the tricks of Maui!
Rolled 1 (1d6)
>>39761
Hail! I bring you a gift to demonstrate our goodwil. The chosen has made this mosaic of our lands most beautiful coastlines from the finest Ambers and polished silver for you to enjoy.
Now, What is this Tausamiga toto you mentioned.
>>39776
We can hardly patrol all our coasts now. there just aren't enough boats. We have to build lumber camps in the hinterlands (Where the flag is) so we can make more boats in the future.I'll just roll a d6 because I get the feeling that everyone is rolling d6s for everything while you decide what the outcome is on a case to case basis. Which I think is great.
>>39820 tries to build walls, but the workers are lazy and used substandard material for said walls.
>>39834
Sure.
>>39821 manages to construct a fleet of fine trading ships
>>39827 focuses his grip close to home
>>39829 [rolls 4] Some gifts are knocked overboard and sinks to the bottom of the ocean without any of the ship's crew noticing.
>>39829
My friend, Tausamiga toto has ended many days ago. However, my iwi and I would be honoured to perform for you. The gifts I am eternally thankful for. In return I shall give you jadestone and as much copper as you wish.
Tausamiga toto is a festival where the people tattoo each other, dance the night away, and forget time and work itself. We use the blood from a horse; as it is sacred.
Rolled 1 (1d6)
>>39842
Reinforce the shitty wall.
>>39841 's boats sink due to an unknown weather anomaly. The few surviving traders washes ashore in both their home country and the foreign country of Mauga Sinasina.
Rolled 2 (1d6)
>>39842
Expand to the bottom. Hunting season is still in effect, but our iwi are preparing something for the Calradans who wish to dance with us!
Rolled 3 (1d6)
>>39842
Create literatureLast roll for tonight. Goodnight.
Rolled 4 (1d6)
>>39860
Wait, hold up... If I rolled for a negative effect to happen to me, and I got less than 4, would that make it a positive effect?
Keep expanding, hunt more, search for greenstone.
Rolled 2 (1d6)
>>39860
Purge the filth.
>>39864
That... is a good question. I do not know.
Rolled 3 (1d20)
>>39842
The Chosen's policies didn't come to fruition lately. The Clans will send their Magi to hold council and chose a new Chosen after deliberateing what the people of Calrada's future will and should hold in store for them
We will also retry to connect our realm and Mauga Sinasina's in trade as described here >>39841
>>39869
By the way you two are connected at the bottom via your borders so that should be easier. Also roll using the d6 dice
Rolled 3 (1d6)
>>39873
Aye
>>39869 gathers and holds a meeting, but at the end of the day they were unable to reach a consensus.
>>39865 's purge did not work and the workers now begin to think they are on a governmental watchlist of some kind. Paranoid, they band up into the Salluna Socialists Party. Population : 10
>>39858 's people manage to write some average literature. Nothing too shabby, and nothing too fancy.
>>39864 's iwis manage to secure another piece of land! How am I doing as a GM for my very first time so far?
Rolled 4 (1d6)
>>39899
You're doing well!

Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>39899
Welp, time for Civil War.
>>39913
Corner to the west, should've clarified.
Rolled 2 (1d6)
>>39899
I'm afraid there's no news to be heared from Calrada, there will be a new Chosen chosen soon I hope.
>you're doingunconventional
Very quick updates but not much is happening each turn. The usuall risk game has you conquer many terretories on a bad roll and few on a bad. But you allways get something.
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>39913
Well, with that problem taken care of, let's try celebrate of the putting down of the scum.
Try to boost Culture to prevent this shit from happening again.
>>39916 Alright
>>39919 I believe this is a good run for someone's first time. I'll be hosting this again soon when I have the time
>>39916 's iwis manage to happily claim another piece of land. Scouts say there are several nations up north, but there has been no activity of late.
>>39919 's people are starting to doubt the legitimacy of the Chosen.
>>39920 's cultural boost was a massive success! +1 to Culture
Rolled 4 (1d6)
>>39934
Let's try building a wall again.
Rolled 3 (1d6)
>>39934
Say, Calradans. Do you guys want to come visit our nation?
Expand to the corner in the west.
>>39966
Yeah, we kinda do... It's 11 o'clock here...
Do this again tomorrow?
Rolled 1 (1d6)
>>39934
>people are starting to doubt the legitimacy of the Chosen.
Then we need to put on a show. SInce the Clan's high Magi are all in the same place right now, I think Conjuring Ice Golems with eyes of Amber to spread the message of the new chosen's godly power is not unreasonable.Pick one of the top candidates by lottery and use the roll to do the magic to get the people in line
Rolled 1 (1d6)
>>39966
Take land south of me.
Rolled 153 (1d666)
>>39971
The Clan heads are sucked into a magical vortex of violent tentacle murder rape that spreads across Calrada and ends the aspiring nation's hopes of prosperity. Only the old Chosen remains and he soon begins to raise the dead as shambeling skeletons.Just as planned
Rolled 4 (1d6)
>>39966
Keep hunting, the iwi up north need their debt paid.
>>39969 I can't, sadly. I have school tomorrow.
>>39971 's High Magi gathers in a courtyard with thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of spectators watching and shivering from anticipation of the summoning of the famed Ice Golems. However, as soon as they are summoned someone disrupts the tedious spell without anyone noticing and the summoned golems simply fall apart. The spectators are flabbergasted as they look around in the crowd in shock.

I understand, thanks for doing this OP. Maybe it doesnt have to be played now, maybe you can set a gametime when youre able or something, like 2 or 3 days in the future. I think this is a pretty slow board to sustain that. This is like a downtime for everyone, where no action can happen but we can still trashtalk and conspire with each other
Thiagoland here. the orange one. Thiago is my name, 24 yo, male !!!
let's roll.
