Your name: Bobby. Your occupation: Cyborg Adventurer. Your goal: return a mysterious letter you found to the Capitol, protect a young bun-orphan, restore your lost dick, and make some some money doing "odd jobs", among other things.
In your adventure so far, you befriended the traveling merchant Luther (who you had to part with some time ago), disintegrated a bandit, hopped on a train and met Maribelle (your current companion), almost decapitated a Super-Warrior, blacked out, was molested (maybe) by a weird doctor, and now you're wandering around this town in search of work before you head to New Green, the big city. You met Papa the grocer (?) who has offered you some work, and that's where we left off on the last thread.
You decided to go check out the deal before you totally agree to anything. Papa smiles, then motions to you to come to the storage shed out back. You leave Maribelle with Louis (Papa's great-grandchild) in the store, then go with Papa to check this out yourself. After removing several large padlocks from the shed's doors, Papa opens the shed and leads you inside to show you his stock. And by "stock", I of course mean 200-something crates of illegal assault weaponry. Papa turns to you.
"Here's your job, sonny. I need you to make sure these here crates get to the city nice and safe. There are lots of kind folks I do business with there, and a lot of folks who would want these guns taken away from them. Normally, I would leave this job up to a family member, but all except one of my children are out doing other errands for me right now, and I would want at least two buns working on this job. That's where you come so in handy. I'll give you 300 BITS if you can smuggle these to where they need to go in New Green. That's the offer, take it or leave it. But, just so you know, if you leave it..."
You feel cold metal press to the side of your head, and only just now notice the bun standing directly to your right.
Papa smiles at you. "...I'm afraid you're going to have to go, sonny."

"No sonny, we've already bribed the stationmaster to lend us a train car, then a truck will be waiting for you at the New Green station which you will fill and then escort to the rendezvous point. The family member going with you knows the directions. Goodness me, I knew you were strong but you're not exactly a smart bun, are you?"

"My family has a deal with one of top gangs in New Green, so we're supplying them with firearms for a little upcoming turf-war they want to put on." Papa waves his hands. "They think they're real hot stuff, but they should of seen me in MY day. Ehehe, if you live through this maybe I'll show you my scars sometime."

You decide to negotiate a bit. You say "Gimme 400 BITS, throw in a tux, and maybe I'll do it." You pretend to not notice you're shaking.
Papa stares at you for a minute, watching your every move with his eyebrows furrowed. Then, all of a sudden, he relaxes and lets out a deep laugh.
"You have some real balls to haggle with the mob, boy! But you know what, I like it. Just for that, I'll give you 350 AND the tux, how's that eh?"
The gun is still pressed to your head.

You accept the offer. Papa shakes your hand, then pulls you into an embrace. "Wonderful!" he exclaims, "From this point on til when you return to me with GOOD news about the shipment, you're an official family member! And with that, comes my trust that you'll do a job well done... eh, what's your name again boy? Bobby? Excellent, excellent." At this point, Papa swats at the gun still firmly pressed against your noggin. "Now now Theo, didn't you hear me, Bob here is family now! So would you kindly put that away for the time being?" Papa turns you around to face the bun with the gun. "Bob, meet my grandson, Theodore! You two will be working together on this little job, so say hello!"
You say hello to Theodore. He simply glares at you for a minute, then faces Papa. "Papa, what are you doing hiring some mercenary to do family work? How do you know we can trust him to go through with this?" You hear Papa laugh. "Of course we can! That is, if he cares at all for that little bun he walked in with. You wouldn't want anything to happen to her, now would you Bobby...?"
Eventually, all three of you walk out of the storage shed unharmed. Papa tells you that you can wander around the town a bit more, then he'll feed you and give you a room to sleep in tonight when you return to the grocery. He tells Theodore to "bond" with you a bit, meaning that he'll follow you around town and make sure you don't try anything funny.
You reunite with Maribelle in the shop, and she gives you hug when she hears you got a job. Papa ruffles the fur on her head. "Yes, he's going to help deliver a few things tomorrow, and you can stay here with me and Louis in the meantime! Whatcha think of that?" Mari flinches away from his touch and moves closer to you.
You have time to go to one more shop in town before you have to go back and have dinner.

You go to the Saloon for a quick drink before dinner. Maribelle insists on tagging along, much to Theo's annoyance and your relief. You go to sit down at the bar, and are welcomed by the barmaid.
"Well, hello again Theo! I see ya brought a friend with ya this time around, huh? Sick a' drinkin alone for once? Ahaha, you know I'm only kidding! Welcome to the Trudid Saloon, stranger, it's always nice to see new faces! My name's Bonnie, and I'll serve you tonight. So, what can I get for everyone?"
You order a bloody mary, Theo gets a glass of stout, and Mari asks for some juice.

The Saloon is nice, with a bar and many tables. You can see a staircase leading up to some spare rooms to the left, and to the right there are a few pool tables. It's not too crowded right now, but there are still a good amount of people around. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual.

At first, you attempt to make small talk with Theo. You ask him if he's a regular here, if he knows Bonnie well, and what he likes to drink, but you're met with nothing. Theo seems keen on ignoring you as much as he can.
