Hello quest board! I have Some questions for you.

A. how are you enjoying the new board in general?

B. How fast/popular/constant is it?

C. what changers (besides a NSFW section) do you guys want?
>>
How do I do trips?

Also, there should be a "schedule post" where people can advertise quests in advance so people can catch them while they're hot.
>>
>>23505
>A. how are you enjoying the new board in general?

It is okay, mostly because it is new.

>B. How fast/popular/constant is it?

It seems relatively popular through use, but there is still some lingering issues about the separation from /tg/.

>C. what changers (besides a NSFW section) do you guys want?

Please, remove the ID tags.
>>
>>24035
ID tags are useful desu.

This board is pretty awesome, better than /tg/.
It's straight to the point.

Wtf the buck...I cannot say t b h...
It turns to desu...lmao.
Tbh
Tbh...

T b h...Huh weird..
>>
>>23505
>A. how are you enjoying the new board in general?
Barely using it.
>B. How fast/popular/constant is it?
Okay for now, but when the novelty wears off it's going to be molasses
>C. what changers (besides a NSFW section) do you guys want?
Just to stay on /tg/. This entire thing is the definition of unnecessary

How do I use the roll feature? How do I know if it's in effect?

Pretty good board, but very slow
>>

They are cracking down on Tumblr speak.

Also the ID tags are basically just names. Take them off and leave us anonymous.

literal autism
>>
It's great reallly enjoying it, but traffic is slow and only time will tell if it will pick up, consider heavier promotion
>>
The way it's going to split things up on suptg is kinda annoying, unless every quest ever is moved to the new part of the archive; but this thread is about /qst/, not suptg, anyway.
I like the new board and all its features. Maybe if I'm feeling bold and or creative, I'll finally start my own quest to QM.
Probably the only thing I don't like about this board are the people flooding it with troll quests or similar such nonsense, but that's a minor detail anyway.
>>
It's pretty cool. I've never participated in a quest thread before. This board will probably attract other new players. There's some quality writing going on; it's a fun read.
>>
Kant-O-Celle quest has devolved into an argument about the board's sustainability after the quest wrapped up. The rolling sticky is caught between shitposters, people bitching about broken features/rules on the board and lack of moderator output, and guys trying to figure out /tg/ dice. The general thread (which is against the no-meta rule) cuts out the shitfit halfway through the current thread. And I have not seen anything I would like to actually play in during the 2~3 days this board has been open.

Like this?
>>
I like the ids, it helps me know how many people are alive in my post and I can speed up and slow down my reply speed.

I like the QST board as I found t hard to find non QST posts on tg before.

I think the people crying about it, posting "QST are not banned on tg" or that all of the other posts should be moved here
1. Don't know you can link to the older posts no matter what bored your on.
2. Are frightened by change
3. Forget these are just games and should be treated as such.

From the quest fag POV the argument against boiled down to the greentext here >>26584
>>
>>23505
>A. how are you enjoying the new board in general?
A lot, so far
>B. How fast/popular/constant is it?
The threads i'm following are pretty fine in that regard
>C. what changes (besides a NSFW section) do you guys want?
Remove the 72hrs limit, some questers have a life or don't rush their quest in 3 days so I really don't see the point of that limit
>>
>>27534
You do know you can make another thread. A quest dosn't need to be done in 3 days...
>>
Meta threads should be allowed.

Written smut should be allowed.

The 72 hour autosage isn't at all necessary, and it'll probably hurt threads more than it'll help. If a thread is over two days old then you can't tell whether it's currently active or not at a glance.

Whining fa/tg/uys should be banned for shitposting.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how things are going so far.
>>
We will probably see some changes to the board in the coming week(s) after the initial "hands off just observe" moderation treatment.

A. I enjoy it! Fun place to make content
B. Image related
http://i.4cdn.org/wsg/1462097895937.webm
C. Get rid of the 72 hour Autosage, allowed lewd but not full on genitals. I guess, Pg-13 rating. This is a request I've asked for other boards but audio enabled webm's.
>>
>>23505
>A. how are you enjoying the new board in general?
not much, lots of newfags drawfags who have no clue how to run a quest, quests quality is dropping.

>C. what changers (besides a NSFW section) do you guys want?
I'm against NSFW, that's troll food.
Remove IDs they are useless.
>>
It is too slow, the quests take too long because there aren't enough people posting
We need more posterst
>>
>>27984
I also want to add that a few more posters and this will be my favorite board
>>
>>24316
>>
>>24416
Everyone is anonymous all the time. The names don't carry over between threads, and IDs remove the need for trips which would carry over. Your identity is transient- you know who OP is, which is important, and if necessary you can know who the players are for voting/competitive purposes.
>>
>>27312
That's a shit argument, tbqfwy. People who want to play quests have a place to go. People who go to /tg/ and try to play online RP games there are told, "Fuck off to /qst/, that's the board for that stuff, it has all the proper tools for it."

And it's only the opinion of questfags that quests are not a problem and belong on a board talking about traditional games. You could turn his argument around on itself, and say that people who went in search of quests fell into /tg/ generals. There's no evidence either way of an influx of people.

>>
>>28132
And? tg tell questers to fuck off to the quest board. On qst, they meet people who want to do quests and not talk about Space Marine dicks. The system works.
>>
>>28155
How big do you think the Commisar's dick is?
>>
>>28104
>>27937
ID tags are useful. It stops people from samefagging to persuade the OP to go with their idea during a quest.
>>27984
Yeah it seems a little sparse now.
>>
>>28330
The weekend quest crowd is starting to leave, they won't be gone till Monday, but they are leaving.
>>
>>28352
Sorry what is a weekend quest, and what does it mean for the board?
>>
>>28373
It just means that questing activity goes up on the weekends, and they'll drop significantly on monday. You'll see it pretty universally across all boards and on all sorts of things, but quests are hit especially hard.
>>
>>27794
>Get rid of the 72 hour Autosage
Fuckin' this.
>>
>>23505
I personally love this board
>>
>>28621
Personally, I'm kinda digging it. It needs the shitposters to drop, which will happen automatically, and it needs an increase in traffic, but generally I like it a lot.
>>
>>23505
>A. how are you enjoying the new board in general?
Eh. It works. This board was not needed, and was not well implemented, but it's not literally Hitler and maybe something good can come out of it.

>B. How fast/popular/constant is it?
Just absolutely barely enough. It needs more people. The current questing community is not large enough to sustain it: it needs to grow to survive properly and thrive.

>C. what changers (besides a NSFW section) do you guys want?
It needs to allow meta threads. I mean, it already does de facto, but the rule banning them should be amended.
Let everyone use text formatting.
Mods should explicitly say that non-quest "forum games" are welcome.

I don't know why people are complaining that /qst/ needs more people immediately to survive. Most boards are slow and have a small population, even slower and smaller than /tg/.

If they removed the 72 hour autosage, quests could float around for a whille and get attention from anyone who cared.
>>
This board is fine, any quest worth a damn is getting enough players. Not every quest will be popular.

Adding on to that, here's some numbers.

/tg/ is below 15 boards in terms of traffic (defined by new threads created daily) and above 35 others. So it's comfortably in the top third of trafficked boards. /qst/ is already as or more popular than /toy/, /lgbt/, /news/, and /i/. New people would obviously help the board, but it's far more important to remove the 72 hour autosage which leaves the board needlessly bare.
>>
I'm still not happy this board was made, but so long as it's here I'll join the chorus asking for a broadening of scope to include risk and shit, and dropping the 72 hour limit.
>>
>>27558
>Whining fa/tg/uys should be banned for shitposting.

Only if the /qst/ers still in /tg/ get banned for off-topic.

Anyways.

I think the 72 hour limit feels arbitrary and outright unhelpful, that the board should allow NSFW but ban obvious porn threads with no Quest content, and that other "forum games" should be allowed.

It sounds like like a rolling sticky schedule thread may be a good idea?

I'm not sure if I agree about allowing meta-threads, they could push off quests that are in between days. Maybe there's a middle ground that can be sound somewhere on that?
>>
>>23505
>A. how are you enjoying the new board in general?
It's shit. The population is mostly retards who saw a light, and the board is hardly functional. I wanted to run a thread yesterday and I couldn't even create it, despite being way under the 3 threads limit per IP.

>B. How fast/popular/constant is it?
It's really fucking slow, despite the new board feel. Faster than /po/ though.

>C. what changers (besides a NSFW section) do you guys want?
I don't even really give a shit at this point. I'm not going to run the bulk of my quests here anyway.
>>
>>28122
>People who go to /tg/ and try to play online RP games
Not even. First, only quests are concerned. Second, you have to know what is a quest to even search for it. Three, why do I even bother replying to an antiquestfag rehashing the same old arguments.
>>
>>23505
A) Yes I love it

B) As much as you'd expect a new, niche(ish) board

C) None, I like it just fine.
