Well, that's usually what happens with Toriningens, but I distinctly remember there being at least events that would forcibly wake you up.
Might just be thinking of some of the fangames though.
Plus it might just lead us somewhere new, like what happened with that goblin we tried killing before in RPG land, where we ended up getting tossed to an island with a door that lead us to Shark Beach.
