You CANNOT make this shit up

Again? Really?
Come on, man. Youve got better things to do.

>Youve got better things to do.
Yeah, like trying to get the webms I make under 4 MB
Maybe if you'd do the same for anything besides a 5 second scene of your favorite chinese cartoon, you'd understand

While I think 4mb is oddly low for a board dedicated to uploading such files, part of the problem is people uploading poorly made webm files.
Some examples of 720p, full audio webm files:
11 seconds, 1,086kb
https://a.uguu.se/NUrcnROldOvx_%E5%AE%B6%E5%87%BA.webm
7 seconds, 404kb

You can get a lot out of 4mb with a properly put together .webm file.
Do you guys think sharing a movie with /wsg/ on a dedicated movie night would work?
Like uploading a movie by cutting it into segments with as much as you can fit into one webm, waiting a bit longer than it would take for a section to play out, and then uploading the next part?
Could be a comfy way to enjoy a movie and discuss it, too.
>>586461
[s4s] actually did it a few times. I think the OP got banned for it because apparently uploading an entire copyrighted movie in 3 minute segments is against the rules
>>586469
How did it happen on [s4s]?
They don't have sound .webms, do they?
Anyway, I doubt it would really be moderated.
I mean, /tg/ posts copyrighted .pdfs all the time.
But I guess you're right.
You don't need to upload entire movies/anime episodes
You don't need to upload 3+ minutes youtube videos when you could just link there.
/wsg/ is just YLYL since mods moved the ebin webm threads from /b/, you don't need more than 4mb for YLYL webms
90% of posts on gif are variations of "sauce plox" and again you don't need to upload entire porn movies.
>>586471
it was with subtitles, no sound
>>586452
Are you sure that's not because it's anime and 90% of the pixels are unchanged in a scene?
>>586531
How about you have a look at the bitrate and sound involved in the file instead of asking fucking stupid questions?
>>586819
But that's exactly why you file is able to be so small.
