Only if you were to make semi-strict ban on such discussions outside of the board, but I don't think it's realistically going to work.

E-celeb and pony have different metric and usage, it's not just some singular and easily compareable thing, e-celebs are people with different spand and influences that are rather arbitrary to define and people won't grasp and understand which people are acceptable to post and which are exclusively for one board.

Banning the stupid fucks outright removed the majority of them or at-least made them never out themselves as one or type like one. The only places you would probably find furfags is on /v/ or /pol/ and that has to do with the immaturity and stupidity of the majority of their users. Containment would of never fixed anything.
