why does this website trigger you so much?
>>567467
because I'm from reddit and attacking others for being from reddit makes me feel superior and like a 4channarian
>>567517
it's 4channist
spotted the redditor
Because it replaced my beloved 4chins as the frontpage of the internet. I'll never accept this defeat.
it doesn't
>>567467
I just wish it had a decent comment system.
Only redditors and 8gaggers hate reddit. Why would I hate a website with hundreds of communities? That would be like hating all of Asia, if I only hated the Manchu.
>>567467
It doesn't.
I enjoy triggering redditors that browse 4chan though.
It's easy to spot them because they're the first ones to whine and act like children when someone doesn't share the same opinion as them.
>>567535
>It's easy to spot them because they're the first ones to whine and act like children when someone doesn't share the same opinion as them.
people who don't share my objectively correct opinions are the redditors desu
>>567533
>Only redditors hate reddit
>>567467
>>567537
This guy gets it. If someone disagrees he's clearly a redditor.
Not debatable.
>>567549
>>567538
self-hatred.
>>567533
>>567535
The first step in invading an internet community is to make everyone think there's only 1 group or 1 view point by which the invaders are disliked.
Congratulations, you've realized that disliking people just because they use another site is a bullshit reason.
But that doesn't mean it's the only reason, and you shouldn't fall for this and suddenly start saying "there's nothing wrong with using that site".
Popularity based comments is the dumbest fucking thing ever.
>>567535
You just described /pol/fags.
>>567639
/pol/acks don't always do that. Sometimes they just dump textwalls and links instead.
>>567644
Most of the time they will just shitpost about your flag
I've been browsing reddit a little lately. Not too bad. Not good either, but not too bad. I still don't like the non-chronological post order. If I want to check a thread for new posts I have to read the whole thing over again.
>>567597
All communities are run by popularity. Look at /tv/, for instance.
>>567539
And naturally, the anti-bronies shove their shit into our faces.
Because every single person that tries to create/represents a reddit """"""""""""'community""""""""""""" has aspergers, not to mention shitty moderation.
>>567662
>anti-bronies
Hello, underaged.
>>567660
No.
>>567467
Reddit itself doesn't annoy me, normalfags do.
Reddit just happens to be one of those websites, like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc. that are magnets for normalfaggotry.
The site itself has been pretty useful for me as a decent amount of things such as user guides for games and such that are in active development, etc. tend to have reddit boards/threads/whatever the fuck you call them, officially ran by the developers and it acts like a wiki that gets updated much faster than your average wiki. Surprise, surprise, due to the design of the site it acts as a useful information aggregation system. The problem lies within the social interaction aspect but this is essentially a non-issue as you don't have to interact with the community to get the information you need.
because redditors see a few screencaps of /b/ on r/4chan and decide they can just skip lurking and go straight to posting
they shit up every board with garbage posts and lack the kind of subtle etiquette that is obtained from long time lurking
>>567811
tl;dr: they hurt my feelings
>>567467
Redditors are like the new kid in your class who think that because they had friends at their old school they'll just pick a group and instantly click with them. So they pick your group and sit with you at recess and lunch and, instead of just hanging out and getting used to the groups mannerisms, they start acting like they're in on all the jokes and stories and try to make as many inputs and contributions to the conversation as possible when they actually don't have any idea what they're taking about, they just think they do. If they just hung out and got used to the group first, maybe adding in their 2 cents every now and then, it'd be fine. But no, they have to be the centre of attention because thats how you make friends right guys xD
>>567891
What do you expect, it's a cesspool of people who want to get their dicks sucked at every comment they make. Of course they're not going to lurk before posting.
>I'm a true anon because I only go on 4chan.org, everyone who uses other sites should be banned, there should even be bans for using Google because they're Jews, real Anonymous like me doesn't have an account anywhere, doesn't have email, there's only 4chan
>By the way I'm the biggest fan of 4chan. I have a 4chan hat, 4chan scarf, 4chan shirt and 4chan mug
>4chaaaaaaan
>>567969
Who are you quoting?
>>567467
>kids shit up 4chan
>tell them to stop
>lmao 4chan is my toilet I go to reddit for serious discussions
SAY lT LOUD
SAY IT CLEAR
REDDITORS ARE WELCOME HERE
>>568013
>>567467
I've lurked that site for a bit, never bothered to make an account because it's so boring and insipid. I didn't see any of the shrieking wacky memesters 4chan told me I'd find. There was some of the obvious upvote-baiting (people trying to be clever and failing), but not to the extent I expected. You might as well (if you're on /a/) blame sites like ANN, Tumblr, or MAL, but R is the more popular target.
Also, it's silly to discount any information or material they or other sites might have. It's stupid when people freak out that someone from there has some image or leak that's legit content, and it gets posted here on 4chan.
>>567660
>I still don't like the non-chronological post order. If I want to check a thread for new posts I have to read the whole thing over again.
>being this technologically inept
>>567533
Why do you support cancerous fucks coming here?
>>567467
why does 4chan trigger you so much?
>>568209
>n-no U!
you need to be 18+ to post here
>>568210
answer the question.
>>567467
Nice b8 question but I'll answer anyway on the off chance you're not "hurr I was only pretending to be retarded"
I wouldn't use the word "trigger" because of the sj connotations but I am annoyed by redditors coming here and pretending they have been here for years while acting like monkeys.
THIS HAS BEEN ANSWERED DOZENS AND DOZENS OF TIMES HERE AND YOU KEEP MAKING THESE THREADS ABOUT FUCKING LEDDIT, GOD FUCKING DAMMIT, GO FUCKING LURK SOME MORE, FUCKING REDDITARD.
>>567533
This, the only people who accuse other people of being from Reddit are almost always Redditors trying to fit in.
>>568327
Wait so you endorse redditors coming here and ruining boards?
>>568327
>reddit calling people reddit for calling people out for being reddit
>>568333
It makes sense.
>>568257
damn u mad as fuck anon
why don't you take a break and go to reddit eh?
>>568373
NO U.
Reddit is a weird site, but it's pretty cool for niche shit.
The biggest subs are fucking cancer, but the small ones are comfy as fuck, while a little bit circlejerky.
I use 4chan for fast, sincere discussion and Reddit when I want to be spoonfed or discuss something obscure.
>>567467
I'd have to guess it's standard internet 2D thinking. People start to only think in terms of 'us who are alwayd right' and 'them who are always wrong'. It's east to think this way. It also provides a nice buzzword to call people you don't like.
edit: le thanks for the gold xDDD and karma XD

I'm not triggered by Reddit so much as I am the legions of fearmongering shitposters who are constantly claiming this and that is reddit.
I still think that most of Reddit still considers 4chan to be at 2008 exploding Fox news van levels and thinks us too icky and problematic to visit.
>>568327
I hated on people I perceive as redditors before I started browsing reddit. Now that I browse Reddit I still do it
A lot of websites have an unhealthy hivemind effect, but reddit's architecture is designed to worsen it. Awarding "karma" for popular opinions while having post timers for posting too many dissenting ones is destined to create a retarded circlejerk; sorting posts by popularity and hiding unpopular ones (by default - and it being changeable doesn't change how most people use it) makes it even worse.
Every subreddit develops a consensus, typically an idiotic one, and becomes an echochamber that treats opposing views with hostility; there's amazingly little actual discussion going on for such a big website, and should any happen in spite of reddit's system the mods are ready to ban whoever triggers the hivemind, no matter how civil the user or how well they support their position.
And then there's the elitist streak. People who can't tolerate disagreement see reddit as "the front page of the internet" and 4chan as their designated shitposting board - this despite even shitpost threads on 4chan being more informative than anything on reddit.
>>567467
Because it doesn't need me and makes me feel like I'm not the center of the universe.
>>568917
>dude who cares
>one of their most popular subreddits is literally just "look what 4chan said"
I care about Reddit just enough to say I don't care about it.
It doesn't matter hwere dumb peopel come from, they're dum

Do you see a /reddit/ board here? My point is that, contrary to the comic posted, reddit DOES care about what we say.
>>569072
>Do you see a /reddit/ board here?
>what are /tv/ and /pol/
>>569072
Yes, I DO see a reddit board here. I see /qa/.
4chan doesn't let you just make new websites, dumbass. There isn't going to be a board NAMED "Reddit" here. Nevertheless, it's pretty obvious who's talking about who. Look at THIS VERY THREAD.
>>568914
better yet:
THIS COMMENT HAS BEEN OVERWRITTEN BY AN OPEN SOURCE SCRIPT
>>569073
To be fair you're kind of right. I remember last week scrolling through /pol/'s catalog and at least 20% of the threads started with a screenshot of a reddit post.
>>569072
>w-we matter damnit!
your red-eyed ayy lmao senpai will never EVER notice you
>>569078
Fuck off moron. I wasn't saying it was okay, I was saying it was an indication of how shit /pol/ is right now. I fucking hate redditors.
>>569070
>>/r/EarthPorn
>it was just a subreddit full of nice landscapes just as I expected
Still wish it had some porn.
>>569711
I fucking hate /r/*porn subreddits. They have one for everything, INCLUDING "human porn" which is just pictures of interesting looking third world people, and "animal porn" which is pictures of really majestic looking animals. It's the dumbest thing in the fucking world. They call it the "SFW Porn Network" which is fucking stupid.
I mean, I like everything they post to those subreddits, but the names are just inexcusably stupid.
>>568038
rude

If you mention reddit you can't get posted on r/4chan

Gee I wonder why.
>>567467
the posters from that site are pretty shit and bad with immersing themselves in a more hostile environment trying to terrimorph 4chan to their taste
