Petition to change /tv/ - Television & Films to /got/ - Reddit and Generals.
That or get some decent fucking mods.
>>566926
>/got/ - Reddit and Generals
This will win
But that excludes the interracial porn and RLM.
Is there a reason why the general is still allowed when they clearly don't stay in it anymore?
>Orlando shooting
>/tv/ should slow down like it usually does since everyone goes to /pol/ as we aren't allowed threads here anymore
>>it doesn't
>new game of thrones episode
>/tv/ should move fast, but its moving a bit slower than usual
>>it shouldn't
>e3 monday
>>/tv/ slows down (threads actually last more than two hours after the last bump like they use to) meme cancer is pretty much gone
>it shouldn't because of a new episode of game of thrones
>E3 ends
>>/tv/ goes back to threads dying after less than 40 minutes
>fast forward to this week no e3
>monday morning
>threads are 404ing after 40 minutes
Merely a coincidence right?
What if /tv/ had /a/'s standard of moderation?
>>566992
>implying /a/ is still good
It's not 2007 anymore friend.
>>567006
/a/'s moderation makes /tv/ look like Lord of the Flies.
>>567006
/a/ is amazing compared to /tv/
>>566992
we wouldn't be the laughing stock of 4chaneria anymore then
>>566926
>Anything I don't like is from that site
No.
And learn how to hide threads you don't like, newfriend.
>>567122
Cute
The GoT plebshit has always been pretty bad and annoying but since yesterday it's literally unbrowseable. The whole fucking board is redditor GoT trash right now with five thousand fucking GoT generals at the same time on fucking top of it
>/tv/ being spammed with redundant threads
>people still find a way to blame "generals"
You people are beyond help
>>567391
just post moar froggus i'm sure they'll get scared and run away
People that actually want to discuss Game of Thrones aren't creating threads like pic related. It's shitposters that either think:
(1) that by spamming GoT threads that they can get the mods to outright ban all GoT threads again (exactly like last year)
Or (2) they just get a laugh by adding to the problem, stoking the fire, piling on the shit-heap.
>>566926
Why don't you like Game of Thrones, Anon? Everybody watches it. You should too.
>>567621
Then explain why game of thrones pedo threads are being protected? >>>/tv/71064394
>>567621
>) that by spamming GoT threads that they can get the mods to outright ban all GoT threads again (exactly like last year)
Reminds me of clowns on /a/ trying desperately (and impotently) to get Naruto banned by being a hundred times more obnoxious than actual Narutards.
yea, yes. Well done, /qa/, well done.
HOWEVER
>>567807
What is that from, anyway? Saw a thread on it (deleted) on /a/.
>>567809
It's Eggman, an r9k """celebrity"""
>>567809
Based on complaint threads on /qa/, it's some Harry Potter thing spammed on /tv/.
That's all the context I know.
I just wish our janitors and mods (if we even have any) would get rid of the shitty e-celeb and twitter screencap threads
>>567807
Gotcha reddit!
>>567845
Doesn't that filename indicate a cellphone? I think someone said so before.
Same with that C\somethingsomething\apps filename.
>>567862
image.jpg specifically means an apple mobile device.
Here's how the selective moderation works on /tv/:
1. All Game of Thrones threads stay up no matter how obvious of shitposts they are. See >>567621
2. threads about females will get deleted unless they open with a screencap of something SJW she said on Twitter or did something that invites a SJW bashing thread
3. Harry Potter threads go to 310+ posts no matter if they are about the movies or about the author saying something about her play or the books
4. Shitpost threads that open with just "What did he mean by this" "What's his fucking problem/endgame" "Who will play him in the inevitable biopic" "I just marathoned this kino, what did I think of it" "HOWEVER" as comments will stay unless they are BANE? or sometimes JUST. It doesn't matter if the subject is not related to television or film at all, just include one of those meme phrases and the thread won't get deleted.
5. Straight up porn threads will take about half an hour to get deleted after they have accumulated more than 100 posts and meme porn and reality porn threads go to bump limit
Not to mention that they babysit off-topic threads if they like them, deleting posts complaining about it but not the thread itself.
>>567856
There was also massive complaining about that
>>567979
Okay. But what does that have to do with that site?
>>568108
It's retarded that you expect people to stay in generals
>>568113
Why? The first two years they did and even the mods made sure that they did
>>567122
>filtering things
>>568201
>oh no people are talking about something I don't like on the Internet!
>>568057
Don't forget epin /ck/ threads
>>567979
And yet it doesn't mean that person is on a mobile network.
I don't understand what makes a person make a new thread every time they have a single question about game of thrones. Almost every one of the threads is a stupid single question that gets 200 plus meme replies and a bunch of manchildren talking about dragons and trolls
We should be allowed to spam the general with complete trash now that the mod and janitor are allowing /b/ to spam the rest of the fucking board with trash whilst only deleting stuff in the general.
>>568098
Fuck off appleshitter.
>>567979
That also happens when someone is posting from an android device.
>>566926
hello that site
Literally spammed every day by the same guy and its never deleted

Don't like generals? Go back.
