Now, I'll say the same thing I said on that thread:
/trp/ will be pretty much useless.
At one hand, haters will hate, so they will migrate to the new board as well to keep on their shitposting. And before someone comes with the whole "muh janitors", I'll remind you we're on /qa/, here half of the threads are about how shit is the job they are doing, I don't expect any better on a new board. Fact is, the more the boards expand, fewer janitors will be available to monitor each.
And at the other hand, the trans community on 4chan is relatively small. The threads on /soc/ tend to move relatively slow, almost glacial, and the /b/ thread can easily die if not because the shitposter keep bumping it with their desu and spiderman spam (btw, thanks!); and having a new board won't stop posting traps on /b/ or /soc/, specifically because some people are so butthurt by traps, it would be a waste to not trigger them on a lazy Sunday.
There's a very loud and vocal who want to kick trap threads from /b/, but as far as I remember, not a single transgirl (or chaser) have proposed or asked for a /trp/ board on either /b/ or /soc/. And as I said, is because we know the community is small enough to not being able to sustain a whole board. It would be another /qst/ or /po/.
