This is the greatness of the image board format, that the users cannot interfere in the visibility of any post they may disagree with.
Moderation is necessary, but they should have clearly defined lines of action.
The line should never be drawn along the perimeter of goodthink or wrongthink. This is a concern for quite a few of us that still care.
The line should be drawn at the point where mindless shitposting interferes with rational debate. And in the case of OP, making an unoriginal thread with no thought and only accusations has the effect of filling the catalog with threads that push the few interesting threads to page 10 faster.
