Why can't /v/'s janitors and mods handle spam that has been reposted at the exact same time everyday for at least two years?
Spam like this should be the easiest thing in the world to catch, but it's rarely deleted. While it was being consistently deleted a few months ago, lately the janitors do nothing about it.

This should be spread in the meantime so there's evidence that even though people don't voice their protests against these spammers in the threads, there is a body of users that don't want them to be spammed anymore. I turned off any duplicate checking, so this should be easy to stack against the spammer OP when he sees nobody wants these stupid E3 threads everyday. I think I caught all the reasons why they shouldn't be allowed.
These threads do get deleted routinely, but considering E3 is right around the corner that might be reason enough to show more leniency (they're somewhat of a tradition at this point even if they're completely forced spam).
Beyond the fact they're spam though, they at least can spark some substantive discussion, so I don't think they're that harmful to the board.
