I prefer 4chan X + OneeChan, but that's just because I prefer the look of it.
No, most of 4chan X's features are superfluous. The necessary good ones are already part of the native extension, which was created along with the HTML5 rewrite of Yotsuba that moot and the Developer made back in 2011 or so.
If you want 4chan X and/or OneeChan, then simply get them yourself.
