Do people on /news/ just constantly change their IPs or something? With the very low post limit I have trouble understanding how hundreds of posts of discussion is possible.

Everybody is limited to posting 5 stories per IP address. This means that threads stay active for weeks before they archive. So I'd imagine a lot of people do it if they can so that they can post current news every day. I, for one, can't do that due to circumstances with my ISP so I have to wait weeks until my threads fall off page 10 and it sucks.

I really like /news/ and hope it stays around even though I can hardly ever post new threads. I hope I'm not the only one but admit that might be the case. It seems like certain shitposters are out to kill it with banal non-news or spam sometimes.
