What do you think about a new images only board? No text, just image dumps. I think it would quickly foster its own meme culture and could end up being one of the best boards. A picture is worth 1000 words anyway. What could possibly go wrong?

I guess part of the fun would be interpreting what the OP of any given thread meant by his first image post. Sometimes it would be obvious and sometimes not so much. I agree that forced memes might be a problem on such a board though.

I would think that facebook, instagram, twitter, and tumblr pics would be worse than imgur pics.
At least half of all the pics on imgur are 4chan memes in the first place.

Avatarfagging is way better than tripfagging. People can inpersonate you if they want, but then your fans will call them out as being poor impersonations, unless you're so much of a loser that you're easy to impersonate by somebody smarter than you who can emulate you. It's very cutthroat and I love it.
I'm not sure if this idea could support a whole board. Maybe just one thread. I remember doing it on /b/ years ago.

Honestly, I'm in favor of a board where you can post whatever you want, but it's just sorta difficult to post in some way. Requiring you to construct your post in an outside program like MSPaint first is enough for me.
