Not only did they go on to make a completely pointless new thread ( >>>/vp/25036981 ), they're even advertising it on the original thread.
Something needs to be done about this pathetic culture /vp/ has developed. If you say a single thing that doesn't conform with their popular belief, you get hammered for it, and the discussion devolves into meta.

No, that's false. The dub references were removed from the OP about a day after the schedule for the XY&Z dub was announced.
Info may be info, but then a lot of types of info should be included in the OP by your logic, including dub airdates for a variety of different countries, simply because" someone" might find it useful.
Nobody in the thread even watches the dub anymore, and people discussed removing that info from the OP in the thread beforehand. Nobody objected to it at the time. Only a day or two after the dub info was removed did one or two posters suddenly flip out and act like something outrageous had just occurred.
If you want to push for the dub info to be inserted back into the OP, the way to do it is not by making a new thread early that randomly reinserts it and then coming to /qa/ to whine when the rest of the thread doesn't go along with you.

I might add that the guy who keeps making these /qa/ threads complaining about "threadspamming" also keeps linking to his /qa/ threads in the anime thread, and rather suspiciously those posts in the anime thread always get purged at the exact same time a common set of other shitposts such as random image spam, laughing faces coupled with "Amour is dead," random Youtube links to off-topic crap or cringeworthy Pokemon videos, posts calling anyone who watches the anime an "underage fucking autistic manchild," also get purged.
