4chan is one of the few sites where you can stop pretending to give a single shit about being progressive as possible and not get banned.
Conservative opinions existed on 4chan long before /pol/ existed and will be here long after /pol/ is gone, if that were to happen.
In fact, the explosion of outsiders trying to make 4chan act like other sites only causes more people to take that side.
When your average anon sees Tumblr doxxing people and getting them fired because they actually dont think there's more than 2 genders; they're going to get as far from that mentality as possible.
