/asp/ right now is split between two groups: people who participate in and discuss alternative sports, and wrestling fans.
/asp/ has always been split between those groups, but nobody minded too much because everybody stuck to their general threads. But since the name change of the board, /asp/ has been completely overwhelmed with constant wrestling threads.
The alternative sports people are sick of having to sift through dozens of wrestling threads to find now buried sports threads, and I'm sure the wrestling fans are sick of us complaining about their presence.
Please give wrestling it's own board. It doesn't make sense that two groups of people with totally different mindsets and interests have to share a board.

Professional Wrestling isnt even a real sport. And it relies heavily on spectation.Majority of /asp/ergers actually participate in their respective disciplines. Please put Pro Wrestling on /tv/ where it belongs or send them back to /sp/
As an /asp/ie that went on the wrestling threads before they forced /sp/ on, I'd just like to see the rule that all pro wrestling has to be on /asp/ be reversed. I typically don't like being one of those "things were better back when" kind of people but /asp/ had a much better quality to it when it was just one wrestling general anf a couple side threads. back then there would only be one thread per payperview, it would last for the entire night,same would go for what ever weekly show was on during the week. that one thread would stay used even past the bumb limit, now we have roughly 4 or so threads that always spawn a new one at the 300 post point, I odn't know what should be done but if anything curtailing the insane amount of threads that occur in one evening of RAW or Smackdown would be a good start.
