Why can't we immediately permaban people who admit to posting on Reddit, similar to our rules regarding underage posters?
Reddit has always been seen as a cancerous site and allowing its users to overlap with 4Chan's is extremely dangerous and will result in the downfall of this site.
As soon as Reddit gets its hands on an ebin maymay from 4chan or any other chan it becomes overused and goes to shit.
The only final solution to the Redditor problem is to ban them. They simply are not welcome here.

This is why it still makes sense to call out people who are deeply involved in one of those websites. They usually don't see any problem with them. They usually redefine 4chan culture, or they come here to shit on it. They find many ways to justify their presence, of which “/b/ was never good” is one of the oldest. Ironically enough, 4chan has never been this popular before. In 2008, there were 3 million unique visitors a month. Now there are 25 million.

When reddit takes 4chan’s memes, they lose their value. The difference with reddit’s memes is that they are used by a much larger group, so they’re property of the internet as a whole.
