I'm trying to track some metrics in my life in order motivate myself by making the progress more evident and visual.
I have a few in mind already, but I don't want to show them for now so I don't influence your answers. It would be best if formulated in terms of "X time without doing Y".
e.g. X days without visiting 4chan, X days without skipping workout, etc.
Which "Life success metrics" would you suggest?
Have a cool sfw image to grab your attention.
Please, throw me a bone here.
I know OP can't bump, but maybe I my IP has changed and I'm able to.
I'll state some examples so you guys can make more suggestions.
1. Not visiting 4chan.
2. Not skipping work out days.
3. Masturbating without porn (just using imagination and memories).
4. Stoic attitude (e.g. If I lose my temper with someone, do something absurd because I fail to analyse it properly, etc, counts as a failure like when I visit 4chan).
5. General improvement (Did I do something useful or to improve myself today? Did I jack off to instagrams of bitches and played vidya instead?).
That's all I've been able to come up with thus far. I'd appreciate your input.

Number 2 and 4 are reasonable. As long as you recognize trolling and shitposting and avoid it, 4chan can be a nice place to discuss interests. Masturbating without porn just seems like your trying to punish yourself. That's stupid.
Try making friends and joining clubs or social groups. Try eating healthier. Try to get on the good side with your neighbors. Try reading books that you've been meaning to but never have.

The problem with 4chan is that is difficult to avoid getting sucked in. I've spent nights browsing /v/ instead of playing videogames, and we all know what's /v/ like for videogame discussion.
Number 3 (no porn) is there for a similar reason. I can actually masturbate without porn easily, just by thinking about semen demons I've met throughout my life. I've realised that porn kills a bit my imagination regarding that and, as 4chan, it sucks me in. A wank that shouldn't take more than 15 minutes becomes an hour-long porn session browsing where I could have fapped 3-4 times.
Of course, saying "never" to some things that are pleasurable is absurd. I was thinking about being able to override all those rules once a month.
So every month there's a day when I shitpost and masturbate endlessly, and all that crap.
Thanks for your input!
>Try making friends and joining clubs or social groups.
I've got more friends than I actual time to devote them, but otherwise is a nice suggestion.
>Try eating healthier.
I'm on track here. I got my sweet tooth removed.
>Try to get on the good side with your neighbors.
My neighbours are the worst hillbillies ever, but otherwise good advice.
>Try reading books that you've been meaning to but never have.
Not books, but I have plenty of side projects that I cast aside to focus on my degree, so I'll add that, I guess.
Thanks for your answer.

Remove your internet connect.
Shit isn't hard, you just don't really want change.

>Remove your internet connection.
>Doctor, my finger is infected!
>Better chop the whole arm off!
That's how retarded your idea is, pal.
>Shit isn't hard
Uh.
>you just don't really want change.
You should stop projecting and start contributing.
Since you're a faggot, have a trap and fuck off with your zero content shitposts.

Ah, I see. Sounds alright. Good luck with your life improvements.
Also I know /soc/ is awful but you could try posting this there too, since its the "proper" board for it.
