Actually, quests are still /tg/ related. The /qst/ board wasn't made to get rid of quests entirely on /tg/, it was made to lessen the burden of the front-page of /tg/ by putting the most popular quests that would get the most bumps elsewhere. That's why the character limit was upped for the board and the autosage limit and all that.

Except that's exactly what has happened. /v/ has it's own generals still that occur semi-regularly. They do this because splitting the two boards has fostered two different communities with different priorities for posting. /vg/ treats their threads like chat rooms, while /v/ just treats them like proper threads. So some generals just pop up on /v/ every fortnight and then move to autosage, waiting for the next time.

Speaking of which, why are generals allowed on /tg/? Go count the number of general threads on /tg/ right now. There are 39 generals on /tg/ right now. Most of them not even /tg/ related by any stretch of the imagination. Some of them are like "Minecraft server". and "Two SS13 servers".

If anything, the board /tg/ needed the most was "/tg/ generals".

Quest threads are basically the ONLY thing that imageboards do better than reddit. They are important and precious and must be protected.

Pokemon themed quest threads belong on /vp/ AND /qst/.

Tabletop dice rollan themed, and roleplay quest threads belong on /tg/ AND /qst/.

Weird bizarre safe for work quests like worby quest belong on /qa/ AND /qst/.

My little pony quest threads belong on /trash/ AND /qst/. They would belong on /mlp/ but roleplaying is explicitely banned there kek.
