Wait, this doesn't seem like the regular feminist bullshit that I usually see.
That's because the conservative student group I am a part of erected this to compare the totalitarian regime on the "bad" side of the Berlin wall, full of censorship and intimidation, to the current political climate on our campus. SJWs and all those like them have nearly silenced conservative voices on. They can do this because of the fact that there is a bias hotline the university actually has, which you can call to inform them that "something is hurting your feelings" and they will actively take steps to censor it

Throughout the day, many liberals and other self righteous students came to tell us how wrong we were, how we were terrible people, how we should kill ourselves, and quote "you people will rape your wives someday".
But for every person who came to argue and crush us, two came to tell us how they believed in us and how they support our message. One woman, a "RA" (residential advisor) told us about how she has to put comics in her hall about white privilege, racism, ect. Overall, the vocal support was very positive.
At the end of the day, we used a hammer and demolished the wall, symbolically bringing down the wall of censorship that has come with political correctness. Here you can see many liberals actively yelling at us. The press was involved, attempting to take both sides of the story in an honest way.
At the end of the day, many moderate people came up to us and had very open, honest dialogue. That was the purpose of this, to finally bring into the light just how insane the PC bullshit had come. The majority of the University agrees and perhaps now we can move toward an open, unbiased discussion on how ridiculous it has become, not only on campus, but on the internet, in the media, and in our everyday lives.
So go and do something that actually helps spreads a message instead of shitpost all day and accomplish nothing. The fire is rising and the pendulum is beginning to swing in the opposite direction. Go be a part of it.

I consider myself a staunch liberal and even I like this piece. College campuses really need to maintain their status as the marketplace of ideas, and there needs to be more than one stall allowed to operate there.
While there still needs to be greater sensitivity to the problems faced by gender/sexual and racial/ethnic minorities on campus, the classroom is not a "safe space" in the way that an LGBT or women's center is. Ideas that are expressed in a thoughtful, non-threatening way must be given room to be explored, otherwise groupthink is the result and no honest, academic work gets done.
