I thought, about 2 years ago, that there would be a turning point. When I first started to notice the growing cultural marxist shit, when this started to really take off, I was convinced there would be a turning point. That the line would be crossed, as it usually is with these things, and all of a sudden the blowback becomes overwhelming enough that they become marginalized and it goes away.
But it hasnt. They just keep. getting. stronger. More and more they are dictating public narrative, and more and more their influence (this whole PC culture) is seeping into every aspect of media (film, television, music, the internet, public discourse, etc.)
Will their be a pushback, like when the yuppies crushed the hippies? Or is this the state of things now? Have we been relegated to /pol/ alone, disparate and scared, trying our best to remember what the world was once like?

If one thing can be objectively shown, it's that the rise of SJWism since 2008 has more or less killed the left's ability to actually hold elected office.

Devoid of any other sources of support (they fucked over the working class by embracing free trade in the 90s) they resort to idpol issues which don't rely on reality. SJWs are mostly young people anyway, the ideology is disposable and is used to cover their inability to cope with reality. Once they grow up, they'll find something else to cover themselves or just be apathetic about life (the latter is far more likely).

The left is a hugely important component of a democracy and without it, the US becomes a one party state under the GOP who will turn on the people as soon as elections stop being competitive. Since the GOP control the vast majority of districts in the US, they control the redistricting for most states. Which means you're looking at a Farenheight 451 esque future.

Well, largely I think that this is largely just because being a journalist is every sjws wet dream so they tend to gravitate to that field. The more normal people are too busy getting real jobs. The companies which hire Anita & co to talk to them probably just try to look good in the public eye, they dont really care about their opinions. The average joe on the street is still pretty average and finds the sjw rants useless.
I do think that it has influenced lots of women though, mostly because the pc mindset usually promises lots of hedonism and self-victimization. But still, I feel like the average woman doesnt really care about these things (note that this doesn't mean that the women are still any good)
I think that conservative people should start to be more active and open in student organizations. At least here they're generally very leftist and it shows. The studies themselves are apolitical but the people you hang around with for many years will leave a mark on you and these people also organize all the other activities. No conservative/nationalist/whatever organizations really exist. Though I suppose that colleges/universities have a different role here than in the us in one's early adulthood. But still I think that having some sort of academic or student organizations is a really good thing for any cause.
