How can you be both Liberal and Christian?

Now I know most of you are going to say that Liberals aren't Christian, that they're godless savages, but I think there is a confused group of people who believe that "God would want us to be tolerant of those types of people" and the "oh the Bible is outdated blah blah inaccurate blah blah Bible says you can own slaves etc"

The bible teaches that it's not mans place to judge it's gods. So while the bible does state the homosexuality is a sin, it's simply not our place to judge the people committing it, it's between them and god. I know because the passage you posted doesn't say "If a man lies with a man, you shall not bake his wedding cake" It doesn't say "If a man lies with a man, you shall call him a degenerate on the internet." it says "You shall put him to death." Every minute you spend not killing homosexuals is one minute you are breaking God's laws. He didn't say "you have to follow my laws when it is convenient for you" or "You have to follow my laws, unless you will go to jail"
