Yeah, I've made some posts in this thread and I am starting to think that my butthurt about Rand not being picked is wrong.
The truth is, we have voices and if anything this only hilites the real situation more.
I have even been reading a ton about the idea of neocameralism, I really recommend looking it up. It's a very radical and intelligent form of libertarian politics that I think could be interesting for the future.
The thing is, the whole point of politics is, in actually, to make your ideas. So really, now that Trump has enabled the right wing to actually do shit, we should be thinking of cool ideas that we can actually make happen.
Like how SJWs and socialists were able to do so much stupid shit under Obama, maybe we'll be able to do a bunch of really cool shit with Trump.
It's only a matter of influencing him and ensuring that he has our interests at heart in one way. I think part of that is making sure he recognizes that the libertarian wing of the right will vote for him so long as he speaks in our interests loud and clear. Frankly, I don't really care about Pence that much. I just want to know that Trump will at least support and grant power to the Rands and Webbs of the party, and to the libertarian intelligentsia. And he needs to be clear about this in his words and actions, and brand.
If he does this, he will maintain a very vocal, active and passionate political support from the youth. Without it, I highly doubt that segment will really stay in the race.
