According to a "reliable" source from twitter, here's how it went down (he claims his source is a Kemalist secular within the TSK)

>this was done by cemaat (fetullah gülen supporters)
>12 people attacked the hotel that Erdoğan stayed in
>all of them are known to be muslims who pray 5 times a day and shit
>the "brains" of the operation were all cemaat members, rest were just rused or just soldiers that had to obey commands
>This was most like a last ditch "harakiri" effort by the cemaat members because they received information that they were gonna get arrested soon so they used their last bullet basically
>this is why the "coup" was so poorly organized, they had little time to plan

So basically islamoshits vs islamoshits. Welcome to new fucking turkey

So ataturks military officialy is no longer secular? If they were they would have intervened tonight, wouldn't they?
>>
>>81285465
They were told to "stay put". If military fought each other that's basically civil war

some of them neutralized coup members in an airbase though and handed them over to the police
>>
So the real coup is still on schedule once erdogan tries to make himself a dictator? Nice.
>>
>>81284542
so how much does the army get damaged by this ?

great defender of secular democracy in AttaTurk's Turkey...

Is it gone now ?
>>
>>81285914
no its over. turkey is now fucked forever since that pig Erdogan already put his people in army, and now he cna remove everyone he doesnt like in army and nobody says a thing. this coup was last chance. now we are all fucked desu, it wasnt only about turkey but whole europe aswell.
>>
>>81285772
Is Gülen network the muslim Scientology? What do they want?
>>
>>81284542
they let fuck could they lose this with F-16s on their side. fucking military retards.

also, since when the fuck do clerics (gülen) have influence on the secular military in turkey?

makes no sense at all.
>>
>>81286039
In theory, they are fucked. All their reputation is gone because they failed misrebly

on an other side, they basically weeded out the "bad seeds" in this event so they may get stronger.

The biggest winner in all this is Erdoğan though obviously
>>
>>81284542

also, isnt this the first military coup in turkey that failed?

embarrassing.
>>
>Turkey btfo kurds
>Turkey btfo Russia like its no big deal
>Turkey btfo refugees
>now Turkey btfo its own islamists
>people still hate Turks

Am i the only one who thinks they are fucking badass?
>>
>>81286452
>now Turkey btfo its own islamists
but Erdogan is islamist. kys Honza
>>
>>81286452
None of these happened expect maybe the last one
>>
>>81286326
Something really fucked up here. If the turk airforce was a big part of the coup, and we were watching the bastard circle for 2 hours on flightradar 24, how could they not get one f-16 to shoot him down?

Fucking US and UK tabloids took the bait from his staff about "applying for asylum"...unless it was a total cluster fuck and they fell for the decoy.
>>
>>81286326
F-16's were hunting coup Supercobras

No F-16s were on Coup side.

They shot down 2 coup helicopters.
>>
>>81286452
>fucking badass?

get back inside the kebab shop, diaspora faggot.
>>
>>81286164
>>81286326
Gülen supporters have infiltrated every part of the state, including the military years earlier. They were buttbuddies with Erdoğan so this was easy for them. They stole the exam questions for the government acceptance exam for example so they easily got in.

Their goal was to get rid of the seculars all together which was supported by Erdoğan but for some reason a few years ago they became enemies. Feto prosecutors have arrested countless kemalist high ranking military officers in the past because they were planning a coup which was supported by Erdoğan but after they became enemies, all of them were released.

Whole thing is shady as fuck since Gülen lives in USA supposedly supported by CIA
>>
>>81286556
They all look correct.
>>
>>81286452
>now Turkey btfo its own islamists
where do you get this from? How do you think Erdogan got people out to the street to riot? He had mosques announce a "call to prayer" despite it not being "prayer time."
The islamists were on his side.
>>
>>81286452
>turky btfo russia

did i miss somehting? last time i checked they shoot down a friendly plane and then apologized for it after they lost too much money because russian tourists were not allowed to go there
>>
>>81286452
I gotta give it to Erdogan. What a smart motherfucker.
>>
>>81286446
the win/lose ratio is 2:2 now
>>
>>81284542
Will the soldiers who were just carrying out orders and did not understand the full extent of the operation be harshly punished?
>>
>>81286326
Because Erdogan "purged" a lot of secular leaders, replaced with gülen puppets. All worked fine till they had a fallout a couple of years back.
>>
>>81286673
He means Fetullah Gülen cult members. same shit, different color basically but they are fighting amongst each other
>>
>>81286616
> F-16's were hunting coup Supercobras

how does that compute? F16 belong to the military. And it was a military. So military was fighting against military?
>>
Know what, I don't care, I just want Turkey walled off from Europe. You want to argue half of Constantinople is in Europe, fine, build it on the Bulgarian border, don't care.

As far as Greece, as this point the Turks can have it, they are losers who were duped by the Jews into taking loans they couldn't pay and they aren't "real greeks" anymore anyway.

Just keep fucking bullshit islam out of Europe, we have a very big purge ahead of us as it is.

Wonder what the Yanks do with the nukes during these times. The nukes should not even fucking be there, but another story.
>>
>>81284542
>So basically islamoshits vs islamoshits

Well, I guess I don't have to be upset about the coup failing then.
>>
>>81286898
yes, most of the military is loyalist
>>
>>81286898
Just because they had a military coup doesn't mean the whole army was behind it.

>>
>>81287366

>>
>>81286137

Pretty much this. Ergodan now personally and directly control the intelligence services and police. Has total control of Parliament and is increasing his own executive power by changing the constitution. I'd expect after this he'll take more direct control of the armed forces too. Basically a one man show. We just have to wait for him to die, by which time I think that the secularism cemented by Ataturk will be gone.

Bye Turkey. We hardly knew ya.
>>
>>81287327
I just hope that the military isn't already full blown islamofacist already. Maybe they can still turn it around but somehow I think Turkey will become another islamic state and detoriate into a big pile of shit.
>>
>>81287457
It probably will. Erdogan will use this incident for his final grab for power and afterwards the remaining secularists will have a much harder time doing anything about it.

>The deep state (Turkish: derin devlet) is alleged to be a group of influential anti-democratic coalitions within the Turkish political system, composed of high-level elements within the intelligence services (domestic and foreign), Turkish military, security, judiciary, and mafia. For those who believe in its existence, the political agenda of the deep state involves an allegiance to nationalism, corporatism, and state interests.

I still don't understand why was the decleration read by the newswoman at TRT was basically saying that Turkey strayed too far from Ataturk's principles? It does not seem like something Fetullah Gulen's followers would say.

And they don't even arrest any high ranking officals just because they had short time to prepare or shut down communications until Erdogan orders his followers to march to the streets?

In any case, whatever left of the old Turkey is pretty much dead today.

>>
>>81289584

Erdogan will use the opportunity to seize full powers. Not just "presidential status", but pretty much banana republic dictatorship

It's starting to become blatant this is a false flag. Soldiers were agitated with pro-democratic propaganda until a very limited democratic uprising, with minimal risks of damaging the population or actual democratic institution, took to the streets with arms and tanks

They were crushed. Now Erdogan will re-instate the death penalty, purge the entire officers corps and install strict anti-coup policies to get the naturally pro-democratic army out of his way entirely

And if an opposition party tries to oppose this, they will be linked to the coup and brutally repressed by Erdogan's fanatics

Because that's how it's been done in the past, and it's the only way they'd get any support from the people. It's not like they can go "hey guys where part of a small cult and we're taking over, say goodbye to your elected strongman".

I'm guessing they were also gambling on more parts of the military joining them if the coup looked like it might succeed.

Typically i roll my eyes at false flag talk but...

Erdogan's cabinet discussed false flag attacks inside Syria many times, which were leaked at the height of the Syrian civil war.

>Captured Coup-Soldiers claim that their commander told to them it was "Training" not a "Coup" they also claim that they had no idea what was going on untill People tried to attack them.

I actually was watching a livestream (periscope) where a solider was sitting casually in a tank (that may sound weird but he really was just in his tank doing nothing) and suddenly he gets swamped by people and they start beating the piss out of him, it seemed so weird at the time I watched but thinking back on it...

Wait so let me get this straight based roaches in this thread.

Erdogan will now have even more power right? So what will he do with it?
If he pushes the islamization even further, will the whole military intervene or will they just stand idle.
>>
>>81286326
>since when the fuck do clerics (gülen) have influence on the secular military in turkey?

It's actually a very long story. Gulen is just the last in the line of Imams planted by the West ever since Ottoman Times.

It's crazy how history repeats itself.
>>
>>81293326
not a roach but others said that he put his people in charge of high ranking militarypositions. So there is a chance that nothing might happen and ata turks vision of turkey dies in the end.
>>
>>81293326
>If he pushes the islamization even further, will the whole military intervene or will they just stand idle.
That's the thing, right after a failed coup like this and the subsequent purge they will be extremely hesitant.
>>
New theory: this was a double false flag. The military wants to stage a full coup but doesn't have the support for it yet, so they stages a small coup using Gulen as an excuse. Now Erdo will use this as an excuse to increase his power, which the rest of the military will use as an excuse to stage their real coup in a couple months. Since the top generals were taken as hostages in this coup they can distance themselves from the failed Gulen extremist clique and reform Turkey into the democratic secularist republic that is deserves to be.
>>
>>81291864
Be USA, tell Erdogan to suck it.
Turkey leaves NATO.
Russia seizes opportunity and takes erzurum.
>>
>>81293521
Yes but if they go too far. Say go after the families of the frontline soldiers involved. That will stir up some shit won't it?

My thinking is that if the prosecution goes even a tiny bit too far they are going to face retaliation and not just from Gulen supporters.

I also know a guy who was in that movement. He wanted to become a teacher but his "big brother"(thats how they call their superiors in the sect") told him "we have enough teachers already, we need people in the military now.
So he went to a military school.
When the secular military staff visited his family at home to vet him, the sect brother told him that his mom should not wear her headscarf and they should hide any religious books etc.
He got accepted to the school. He became an officer in the army. The sect also told him to marry a secular woman, not pray, etc, that it's not a sin for him because he does it for the greater good. Encouraged him to drink alcohol to fit on.

I don't know where he is now, might get arrested as well.

gulenists were being removed by Erdo in judiciary/press. The west hated Erdo for doing that citing freedom of press/dictatorship, but actually wanted the Gulen shit to remain in power.

Now in august there was going to be a military assembly and all these pro-gulenist (pro-US) troops were going to be kicked out. So they had a last ditch attempt - hence the reason for the ill-preparedness of the coup

After his death, people refused to celebrate until his body was paraded through the streets because they were certain he had faked his own death to see who would celebrate. Erdogan is the same cort of personality disorder.

What sort of a narcissist do you need to be to actually call Merkel and demand some 3rd rate German comic be charged for insulting you?
>>
>>81299260
Is is a charismatic Sufi cult?
Do they have absolute loyalty to Gulen?
>>
>>81297952
>the youth turks in europe love erdogan for some reason (even protesting in the night) and talking big that if they have too they will go to turkey to help etc
It is because you racist scums make them polarise and they need some hero figure to adore like Eroğan. But they have no idea and also dont care how this country is fucked up since they dont live here.

updates on the frigate that was captured?

weird timing on doing that, the rest of the plot has failed and all

Beyond rantings by Erdogan, who is known to think Gulen is behind every curtain, what evidence is there for the assertion?
And it had better be damn good to overcome the stark, obvious explanation.
>>
>>81299271
you're not very smart: cui bono? Erdogan. He's the winner. I'm not suggesting entire thing was staged. I'm suggesting it was dangled by one memeber of the top command asa loyalty test under Erdogan's orders to see who would take the bait do they could be purged, which is what CNN, BBC, and SKy have suggested (for them to point it out, must be pretty obvious. CNN Turk saved his ass, if they had refused to broadcast his speech on iphone, it may not have worked.

he is very charismatic. there are vids of him, people crying and shit.

he has a very strong command of the turkish language too, like it sounds like he's some ottoman statesmen. in ottoman times our language wasn't as shit as it is now.
>>
>>81286702
More over, Erdogan now pretends that it actually were the "coupist" that shot it down agains the goverment will, and Turkey just covered it up since it would be shameful to admit it.

And now the same pilot, is on the coup side and likely be either arrested or killed.
>>
>>81299475
Sounds like a traditional esoteric Sufi/Shiite cult where the Imam is considered a special representative of God or possessing some attribute of God, and commands the absolute loyalty of his adherents because of it
>>
>>81299543
The person behind this (the guy in the OP pic) is a general that came to power after Gülen prosecutors jailed secular air force commanders.

do you need more evidence?
>>
>>81299383
yes absolute loyalty. And it's not really Sufi.
They have ranks similar to scientology.
the smallest cells are regular people living in their student dorms, housewives meeting once a week for a religious reading etc.
there are abi's (big brothers) and abla's (big sisters) who are responsible for each region each student flat etc.
Its a tiered system. And the "grand brothers" are the men around F.Gülen.
They use the base to collect money/support.
Members are encouraged ( pretty much pressured into) buying his books, buying their newspapers, giving money to their charities etc.

Also they used to have a vast network of charter schools and tutoring schools(preparing students for exams) and the students there were told by their "big brother" what they should study. " you should be a teacher, you should go to police school, you should go to military school"...
thats how they build their network in the state.
They started doing that about 30 years ago.
>>
>>81299444
Protip: It hasn't.
>>
>>81284542

No, I really doubt this.

Erdogan he's the most extreme of all, gulen is just a front - vote for me or you will get this guy kinda thing.

Captured soldiers were beaten by bearded guys and beheaded, incited by erdogan.

Is the same when erdogan claimed Kurds blow up a Kurdish demo in Ankara - was done by erdogan to crack on Kurds, now is to show him being attacked by more radical muslims, instead of seculars.

Try harder.

>you racist scums
if you are serious, this is where you lose all fucking credibility. Muslims in Europe are treated a fuck of a lot better than poor christians are in Islamic nations...look at Turkey, for fuck sake, and they are native to that nation.
Imagine a group who came and set up shop in saudi and demanded gibs me and for the state to build churches? And were 70% of the prison population?
How long would you put it up with it? You purged your Christians in the 50s and make the Patriarch of Constantinople live like a nigger.
Don't talk about "racism" like a BLM niggers to make up for your peoples fucking failures.
>>
>>81299560
Great explanation. Now the tough part.
How do you know? Do you have secret Turkish military contacts any reporter in Turkey would be dying to have right now.

>>81299671
No.
No that's not good enough. I want to be exceptionally clear. If the guy behind the coup ran in circles screaming about how much he liked Gulen, it *still* wouldn't mean Gulen had anything to do with it Maybe Gulen might like it, but it's not a chain of evidence.

The closest Western analogy I can think of is if Opus Dei activated their members to launch a coup (which would be a great thing mind you).

Why do you think Erdogan and all of his followers and all the western media are blowing shit out of their arse from Istanbul?

right after erdogans plane landed you could see on flight radar that the tanks moved to the same location the plane parked.

proof that erdogan initiated the coup

>How do you know?
I'm giving the most reasonable explanation for all the inconsistencies. There was a reason the top military brass in Turkey didn't commit, and it was all Brigaders at highest.
Other coups in Turkey involve the entire military just removing the government. This was different, very different. If even the networks are pointing it out, something is clearly wrong.
>>

The entire military wasn't part of the coup, you kraut fuck. Jesus fuck people can't be this dumb.

The armoured convoy had been moving from outside Istanbul, from a garrison close. The Cobra gunship which got shot down was on the side of the Rebels, and many, if not all of the F-16's are Loyalists.
>>
>>81300421
I still cannot reconcile the 2 hours circling just below Constantinople. You can bet they have the best training they can buy from ZOG.
Look at Bush during 9/11. Even with fighter escorts, they kept him moving across the country, didn't circle in a predictable pattern for literally 2 hours.
If you had one or two pilots from the airforce ready to even try to confront him, if we on here knew where he was, they did not?
Were it real, they'd have kept him moving, and surely not in a fucking gulfstream. This is the 2nd biggest military in NATO? Not adding up.
>>
>>81300625
They're not. But Erdogan and whatever remains of his government won't be ruling from the capitol.

Well no idea when they got there, but that should have been the first place to strike. Next should have been capturing Yildirim.

The situations wasn't clear, going anywhere but Istanbul was dangerous for him and the best chance he had of resisting a coup was from Istanbul since its his home town and largest bastion of support. Especially if he knew that most of the air force was loyal. So they probably waited for loyal ground units to ensure the safety of Istanbul airport before the plane landed.

>Gülen school
WEW hans I just skimmed through this guy's wikipedia page and he could not be a more overt vessel for the deep state:
>Gülen put Nursi's ideas into practice when he was transferred to a mosque in Izmir in 1966... and supported market-friendly policies... [Gulen supporters] were largely pro-Western...(mainly U.S.) influence...and U.S. aid, which had primed the pump of economic growth

>it is believed that many Gülenists hold positions of power in Turkey's police forces and judiciary...Gülen also has sympathizers in the Turkish parliament and that his movement controls: Zaman newspaper, the private Bank Asya bank, the Samanyolu TV television station, and the Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSKON).

And the beheaded cherry on top:

>Gülen criticized the Turkish-led Gaza flotilla for trying to deliver aid without Israel's consent. He spoke of watching the news coverage of the deadly confrontation between Israeli commandos and multinational aid group members as its flotilla approached Israel's sea blockade of Gaza.

Is it possible that Edrogan really ******Did nothing Wrong****?
>>
>>81301156
That much I can buy, but how much command and control could they have from a gulfstream? They had no picture of the battlefield, they don't know who is loyal and who isn't.
They put out a few fake stories about seeking asylum, which makes sense. Is it possible that we had a better view of radar than the rebels in the airforce?
Maybe, I don't know. But even the commentators and very Jewish CNN were smirking and saying "..if this was a real coup" and that short-haired dyke with the botox was was also implying...I don't know who's Jewing who anymore.
If it wasn't planned, the Turks are fucking incompetent throughout the military.
