Why would the rich be outside human nature? They indeed realize what others do not hence they are above but even then they realize whats point? Once the objective is achieved whats next? Progress meaning technological, and even future sense. A lot of creations have been denied patents because there is simply no money in something that is free. The Venus Project (the inventions at least) were denied patents by the US. Lightbulbs are made to die etc.
Perfection in the sense of walking on the right path as an individual. My goals started after I realized at a technological level that there was corruption. Things are made to break instead of being made to last forever. Since then I have never stopped asking why, it sustains my goals. I want people to be free from others that would control them without said people even knowing it. It saddens me that I would become my own enemy at that point but I feel it is the right path. Nature did sort of choose for me. I wanted to do something completely different, took a chance and worked because I had no other choice. Now I am living off of my past work while currently studying for my next stage in life.
The rich aren't outside human nature, they control how human nature is expressed. The only thing seperating them is a keen understanding of human psychology and nearly unlimited governance. When they create a globalized society I imagine the next stage would be AI and making it easier to control their human livestock. I don't believe there are simply one large group or family, rather multiple groups trying to stabilize while helping other rich groups. I'm sure there could be fighting, but not yet. They are thinking in the now, the present. I don't know what they will do once they reach their goals. I don't even know what I will do if I reach my goals. I suppose dream bigger, like I did at the start of it all.

Instead of us being the ones to spark a revolution, the government of the US is basically making an artificial revolution comprised of low iq blacks and overly impressionable children. They will use this to seize power from the enlightened population.

Why bother playing all these new games? There's enough old games, books, movies, music, etc. that you can choose from, to fit your own precise criteria, and not care in which direction something modern goes.
Better yet, the old hardware was simple enough it could be programed at the bare metal, so you didn't even need to worry about which direction some OS, compilers, libraries is going to go. just you, your friends, an assembler, and some simple software to draw pixels and make tunes. That's a lot more rewarding, constructive, and educational than all this new shit.
The only current thing that's even halfway equivalent is TempleOS, but otherwise all the new stuff is just terrible.
