Hezbollah fighters kill Daesh commander near Syria

A notorious commander of the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group operating in areas straddling the Syrian-Lebanese border has been killed in an operation by Lebanon’s resistance movement, Hezbollah.

The Lebanese al-Manar TV said Saturday that the commander, identified as Abu Khattab, was killed in an operation in the village of Qaa, northeastern Lebanon.

It said Hezbollah fighters launched an offensive into the hideouts of terrorists in the Zuwaitinah area of Ras Baalbek. A number of other terrorists were also killed in the operation, Manar said, adding that Abu Khattab and his companions were traveling by a vehicle when they were targeted by a guided missile.

Abu Khattab was reportedly the operations chief of Daesh in the area.

The Syrian Army agreed on ceasing the aerial campaign on Jayrud after militants vowed to hand over the body of the slain pilot.

Militants fighting for Jabhet al-Nusra executed, yesterday, major Nawras Hassan after his Su-22 was downed in Jayrud, eastern Qalamoun. Having vowed to avenge the execution, the Syrian Air Forces pounded militants’ positions in the area, killing at least 31 and wounding dozens.

i actually don't see any usefull role for it other than maybe trasnporting new planes to syria...

however using it to host attack-aircraft would just reduce their payload.... hosting them in latakia is much more efficient.

well maybe they let it shoot some of it's rockets... i heard they can put s2l- missles into those S700 lunchers too... or they just deploy it to keep the nato deployment in check..

i actually don't see why they should deploy it their other than countering the growing nato-deployment.

It's all verified. The problem is I suscribed to a ton of channels in the matter of 30 minutes, so Youtube temporarily blocked me from suscribing to any more. There are still a few channels I need to suscribe to left.

So Nusra would probably be the biggest then.

I can't see how the pic saves Assad. If you get shot by militants hiding in a crowd, then you shoot back at the militants and not the crowd.

Same thing goes with the Mysterious Sniper who fires cursed bullets that make policemen fire at unarmed protesters. He is, like, the meme excuse for incompetent police officers working for the various dictators.

That is hardcore stuff mate

definitely Nusra, yeah. Second would probably be Ahrar al-Sham.

Third could very well be Jaish al-Islam

>On the 29th, the Ukrainian forces unilaterally violated the Minsk-2 ceasefire, in an attempted to punch through DPR defenses in Logvinova the direction of Debaltsevo.

>Initially the Ukrainian forces managed to push through several kilometers, as militia caught off guard fell back to a second line of defense. However, by this time, the DPR had scrambled reinforcements, and drove the Ukrainian forces back with overwhelming artillery fire. Rather than an organised retreat, the Ukrainian forces fell into a disorganised stampede, leaving four armoured vehicles destroyedtwo dozen fascists dead.

>The UAF command appears to have sent this force in purely to test NAF defenses, with no regard for losses for a small tactical success. The UAF may have hoped with a lot of blood to establish a foot hold in this area, gambling on the NAF not responding in order to avoid being accused of violating the Minsk-2 agreement by OSCE 'partners'. However, the NAF did punch the Ukrops in the teeth, and will continue to do so. Not one inch of ground will be surrendered.

Leith seems oddly confident about the Latakia counteroffensive

btw the Desert Hawks are now definitely there! even Eyad said so
>>
>>79536174
Yeah, it's confirmed the Desert Hawks are deployed in Latakia, let's wait this offensive doesn't get delayed 5 months like the North Aleppo offensive.

>>

well this shit states theyre ready for a large offensive, detailing which specific towns will be hit first, and already revealing that the ultimate intention of the offensive is to take all Latakia

thats just giving it away, youre giving the Jihadis and their Turkish border control buddies plenty of time and info to prepare, for nothing

Tiger Forces قوات النمر
10 min ·

Syrian Arab Army's Tiger Forces extended its control over the eastern region of #Mallah farms in northern #Aleppo countryside, after the elimination of dozens of Erdogan's mercenaries. All northern and eastern parts are now under absolute control. Operations on the southern part of the farms continues.

What, this?
They are not really specifying anything though, it's the ussual flowery arabic report we are accustomed to. And saying that the intention of the offensive is to retake all of Latakia, is kinda meaningless, I don't think they themselves believe that they are gonna do it.

However I do agree with you, both the SAA and the rebels are always announcing their offensives to the world, they should be more carefull (the SAA, not the rebels, fuck them)
>>
>>79537729
>I don't think they themselves believe that they are gonna do it.
Well I do appreciate the optimism, but indeed lets see them retake what was lost first
>>
>>79533888
Its not easy to identify who is shooting or from which location when there is a big crowd, they may think they are shooting the militants but they are shooting to something else, or the militants may shoot the civilians and blame the police. And in the confusion people get killed. Also in the videos I've seen the protestors where not necessarily peaceful, many were burning stuff and vandalizing things.

>>79536102
And conveniently western media doesn't report any of this violations. If it was the way around they would all be crying muh evil Putin.

This guy Sheikh Abdallah Muhammad al Muhaysini is a peculiar figure.. Saudi cleric..
especially striking is his january 2014 attempt to strike a deal between ISIS and the other jihadi groups

Important to note is that its reported that Ahrar and Nusra both accepted reconciliation with ISIS - it was ISIS that refused in the end.
So much for the "Ahrar arent extremists"-narrative

map update

Begs the question: if a large amount of the troops that arent tied to sitting around at frontlines are in offensives now (Latakia, East Ghouta, Darayya, north Aleppo).. who is going to drive back ISIS east of Palmyra?
