"For New Zealand, this is a great opportunity. As a small, free-trading nation, New Zealand has expertise in negotiating trade deals such as the free trade agreements with China, Hong Kong and South Korea. "The New Zealand Government should make this expertise available to the UK government and work constructively towards a New Zealand-United Kingdom free trade agreement. If such a deal includes Australia, it would be even better,"
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=11664164

-------------------------

New Zealand First leader Winston Peters is calling for a free trade agreement among Commonwealth countries, and wants to use New Zealand's CER agreement with Australia as a template.

He said a British exit from the EU could offer such an opportunity and could "heal a rift" with New Zealand that occurred when Britain became a member of European Economic Community in 1973.

"New Zealand First believes our oldest and most successful trade agreement with Australia, CER, provides the ideal template for Closer Commonwealth Economic Relations, or CCER.

He said it could become a model for a high quality future agreement not just with Britain but Canada, South Africa and India.
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=11594934

-----------------------------

New Zealand needs to "milk Brexit for all it's worth'', Federated Farmers says. The rural lobby organisation has urged diplomats and export companies to be "quick off the block and first in line'' to push New Zealand's agenda.

New Zealand primary exports to Britain were at 3%, with 11% going to Europe. When Britain entered the EU 43 years ago, it was the recipient of 40% of exports. Prior to that, in the 1950s, more than 80% of New Zealand exports went to Britain.

Ideally we get access to the single market but also have the ability to forge our own trade deals outside of the protectionism of the single market. There is huge potential for opportunity but we need people who actually want to leave the EU, the problem is most of the MPs are still remainaics so they might drag their heels on everything.

So lads, any of you regretting your leave vote yet?

I'm still fucking ecstatic that you guys left, but your media/politicians are the most irresponsible people on the face of the planet. Markets react poorly to instability, especially towards reserve currencies like the pound when the future becomes much more uncertain, Cameron's decision to delay Article 50 negotiations until October when he hands off the torch is the absolute worst thing he could do for his country at the moment. He's just putting your country into limbo until October, the pound's not going to gain and the markets will remain unstable because there's no exit plan (especially with the whole 'no informal EU negotiations' thing from Germany and France). I swear he's going to try to stir things up enough for people to reject the Brexit vote and go back to the safety blanket that is the EU. Media's not doing anything to help, as all they're doing is spotlighting the disappointment from millenials and now there's the whole 'racism wave' narrative they're trying to spin in order to destabilize things more, make it look like law and order is going down the tubes.

It's fucking disgusting desu. First thing you lads need to do once you're free from the EU is to eliminate the BBC's t.v. license bs, I mean god knows they're practically like any other channel these days with their magazine articles and fluff pieces, it would be nice to do away with the government sponsored """non-biased""" bullshit.

Still fucking happy for you guys though, I never considered working in Europe while the EU was still around, but now I'm planning on returning to the UK (went to Edinburgh for uni) to work cause the future looks so fucking bright. Might open up a branch of my business over there (international trade) as well once you lads get your trade business sorted out, would love to help build up the new Britain.

Can someone fact check this?

Open Europe, the biggest think tank in Europe of economy and politics and the European Commission data bank give us the following data: the maximum loss for the UK for the exit from the EU is of 1.5% of GDP, the maximum loss of the city of London, the large financial centre in European business, is 1.1% of GDP.

Europe exports to the UK ten times than what the UK exports in Europe. It will be very difficult for France, Germany, Italy and Spain etc to lose billions of exports by blocking the UK.

With the UK deregulated and outside of the EU has something like 2 billion potential customers in emerging countries.

It affects 0.4% of huge British companies.

Small and Medium British companies lose 760 million Euros each week due to the suffocating, Soviet and authoritarian bureaucracy of Brussels.

The £220 billion exports of goods and services to other EU countries were worth about 12% of the value of the British economy in 2015, and £230 billion or 13% in 2014. It’s stayed at around 13-15% over the past decade.
100% of its economy is blocked by the suffocating laws of Brussels.

London which could lose 1.1%, will be able to export 10% of the British GDP in the whole world.

In 1992 the UK was in a similar system to the EU, called the European Monetary System. They were kicked out. Everybody said: "It's the death of the UK". It was the day the UK, and London left for outer space.

The UK has gotten rid of the nomenclature, authoritarian which has humiliated all the national parliaments of Europe.

They are not scared of economic loss. They are scared of the loss of control over a neo-feudal, authoritarian and anti-democratic project called the European Union.

>Muh dictionary.

Jesus fucking christ.

Have you ever heard a political commentator or political science expert use the term "Globalism"? No, because it's a fucking stupid as fuck alt-right buzzword coined by idiots like Alex Jones.

Globalization is what is referred to when you plan economic and policy on a global level, neoliberalism is what is referred to when you liberalize markets and reforms and let them interconnect into a global economy.

Globalism, the term nobody fucking used until like a fucking week ago, isn't a real political fucking term or if it is, it's only used by the alt-right to mean "JEEEEEWWWWSSSS". I've been following politics for decades especially the effects of globalization and neoliberal policy and I never, ever heard the term Globalism until the alt-right started spewing it everywhere pretending they were the "real left"

Nah the EU will lock them in a bit too tightly. Not only that but it all depends on France. If Le Pen wins and takes France out then it's over. At the very least the import/export is extremely wrong.
>Figures from the ONS showed that Europe is gradually becoming a less important destination for UK companies. In 2000, 60% of exports went to other EU countries, but the percentage fell to 58% in 2005, 54% in 2010 and 47% in 2015.
>Over the same period, imports from the EU remained constant, accounting for 54% in both 2000 and 2015.

Mogg would be wasted as PM however as Home Sec or even Foreign Sec he could dictate policy closer the where he thinks it should go.

If you ask me this is my perfect (Top 4) cabinet:

PM - Boris Johnson
Chancellor - Andrea Leadsom
Home Sec - Jacob Rees-Mogg
Foreign - Liam Fox

I'd keep Gove at Justice as he likes it there, I'd also give Priti Patel a promotion but I'm not sure where.

The proper political divisions in the country, from what I can tell, are Thatcherite Conservatives, which include Nigel Farage and a number of Tory backbenchers, who are anti-European Union; Blairite Centrists, which include the Conservative frontbench and the defected Labour Shadow Cabinet, who are pro-EU; and the Communists, Corbyn and the rest of Labour, the Greens, etc, who are broadly euroskeptics.

How this situation is going to resolve itself I cannot tell. We need a political party realignment and then a general election.

Very few people I've seen on /pol/ are for Boris Johnson. He's undoubtedly an opportunist who didn't want or expect Exit to win. He's been politically checkmated by Cameron. Stop assuming everyone against Theresa May is for Boris Johnson, you cartoon character cunt. People like you who feel the need to pick the lesser of two evils are the ones who've given rise to the centrist, pandering cunts like Tony Blair, David Cameron and Boris Johnson, and Theresa May is quite clearly another in the making. I TOLD YOU THEY'D TRY THIS

Does out really mean out?

Of the questions we now face, this matters most: what does leaving mean? The referendum may have dealt a shattering blow to the political consensus over the European Union, but even as the broken pieces fall, a fresh agreement is quietly being constructed to answer that question.

In the Conservative Party, both Leavers and Remainers are settling into an understanding that actually, leaving means keeping quite a lot of the EU. In the coming weeks, Conservative European ambitions will coalesce around a Brexit involving tariff-free access to the single market and immigration rules that still allow many EU workers to come to the UK freely.

Narrowly defined, Parliament has the right to pass such a deal, but practically, permission must be sought from the people. The future of British politics is a choice, made either at an early election or, less likely, another referendum, between emulating Norway (which pays to get most of the single market and accepts a liberal immigration regime) or Canada (which has a limited bespoke EU trade deal and its own immigration rules). In other words, are you happy to end our formal membership of the EU but retain significant aspects of our relationship with it?

We don't really like him, as he is left wing bordering on marxism, but at least he's not a blarite, and he is meme material.

His shadow cabinet is resigning around him and he stays on regardless, and if a leadership election gets called, he will stand again and win, because he actually stands for the people somewhat compared to the rest of the party which panders to champagne socialists and students.

So, we like him for trying to actually bring the labour party to be for the working man again even if we don't agree with all his policies.

He also helped the brexit campaign by hardly campaigning, being anti EU for 30+ years, and apparently his office was watering down the labour stay campaign.
>>
>>78986091

>>
>>78991797
JC is a relic from 1983 when Labour were in bed with the literal Soviets. He was an outsider who stood as a meme candidate for the Labour victory but won. The Yank analogy is that he's Sanders and he beat Shillary in the UK version of the pres nominations.

He's too old to understand transniggersexual identity politics and harks back to what the Left used to be all about: shipping globalists off to the work camps and obsessing over 0% unemployment.
Despite this the transniggersexuals love him because his gommunism means he'd give them all bennies, so he captures the Sanders base.

/pol/ likes him despite his gommunism because he's not a shill. He fights for what he believes in despite everyone else telling him "It's the Current Year omg".
In that sense he's kinda like Farage. The globalists fucking despise him.
>>

Even remain MP's have grudgingly accepted the democratic mandate from the people. How do you think the Commons would look if they had actually got their way? They'd never even discuss the idea of Brexit again. We'd have had to put UKIP in power to even revisit the question.

It think it's a weak theory.
>>
>>78992803
He is a Labour MP in the Tony Benn tradition, ie. a Marxist that believes in historical materialism, he's against nuclear armaments, wants free movement of people but was originally against the EU until about 6 months ago. Labour hate him because they see him as unelectable, class solidarity has disintegrated and given way to Blaireite scum, Labour are also part of the establishment and reformists, Corbyn is the real McCoy who will dismantle the market system. They'd much rather he's fuck off to the back bench with Skinner and let them continue the farce of providing a voice for the working classes.
>>
>>78993351
May turned her back when the Leave campaign needed her most, I for one will never forget that.
>>
>>78992994
There is a lot of euroscepticism in the Tory party. Boris Johnson, by campaigning for Exit, puts himself in a position to have their support. "Sorry, old boys, I tried my best," and thereby wins a lot of political allies in the party, particularly the people in the party most vehemently against Cameron. The letter to Cameron when it still appeared like Remain would win, his reaction when Exit won, and the fact he's got absolutely no idea of what to do now we have won pretty much confirm this to be the case. By resigning, Cameron has fucked him hard, and frankly, he deserves it, the scheming cunt.
>>
>>78993150
>Safely out
You know you're never getting out safely right?
>>
Did Farage ever actually say that 3 million pounds would go to the NHS if we left the EU
>>
>>78993469
It's mostly a thing because he's so uneven about the freedom of movement (saying he wants to stay a part of the single market) while saying he wants an Australian points system for immigration.

Don't forget when he first joined the Leave campaign he wanted a second referendum if Leave won.

He's all over the place on policy, and what we do know of him is he wants "amnesty" which isn't even discussed in British politics, more of an American term, and he's very pro-immigration/has London values. IDK why I should be excited about him? I appreciate what he did for Leave and I'm not going to get all conspiracy-headed but he's a bit of a meme figure.

I agree he's wishy-washy and I'm not particularly excited about him either. But I do believe he believes we have a better future outside the EU. We can have access to the single market without being in the single market, that's what I understood from what he's said. We of course won't have complete access, but we don't need it. We just need the banking passport.

Really pisses me off how Farage is getting blamed for that when he wasn't part of Vote Leave and in fact Vote Leave did all they could to distance themselves from him all campaign. Then when it's time to call them on their bullshit the media pins Vote Leave's shit on Farage, blown up by that whore on ITV News and now (((John Oliver))).

The wishy-washy part is a problem when we need to have specifics right now for what we're going to renegotiate, and there's tons of bad hypotheticals we could get. Just look at Jeremy Cunt and wanting a second referendum. Boris needs to just come out and flatly say he wants no freedom of movement and immigration controls, instead of trying to be a centrist or liberal.
>>
>>78993960
Farage was even careful to always say it was net 10 billion instead of the gross figure (the one that gives 350m a week)

Britain uncucks itself and gets Trump elected. Greatest nation on /pol/.
>>
>>78994304
holy shit, if Brexit leads to the destruction of the EU and Trump getting elected I'd jizz my pants

C'mon lardy boy, you can surely can do better than that. What does that even mean?

It's ridiculous how the media is jizzing off to the
>muh 350 bazingas for NHS
All he said that the money would be free to be spent as we see fit other than shipping it off to go to waste in Brussels.

>Boris needs to just come out and flatly say he wants no freedom of movement and immigration controls
That's never going to happen. He needs to unite a parliament three quarters of whom campaigned for remain.

That fat bulldyke poo Diane Abbot tried to aggressively pin the blame on Farage in the debates afterward until it triggered a based random audience member who told her to sit the fuck down and stop scaremongering.

Will jez purge the blairite mirror?
>>
i cant wait to get back home to my good friend diane abbott. my blairite wife can fuck off to france, sending my son to public school, preposterous! Tonight diane will roast a joint of gammon and then i will place my wizened cock into her mud sleeve parting those big fat juicy lips before i ejaculate my entire load. The fervent wind diane exhales due to her ibs is of no hindrance when i play with her asshole and her piggish screams "reeeeeee reeeeeeeee" gets my cock red hot like a R7 Semyorka missile. In no time i ejaculate roaring in a deafening cry silencing my black queen. Tomorrow the ride to parliament will be of great difficulty for my balls i remark before assuming the fetal position in my soviet jim jams and turning off the light, relaxing with a big cheshire cat grin as i listen to diane sob as she lays in pain recovering.

If it triggers an election UKIP will barnstorm and it won't be like 2015, Boris will be forced to coalition with Nigel. It's pretty win-win at that point at least. Can't see Boris do the fearmongering that got Cameron his Pyrrhic victory in 2015.

At this point you can blatantly abandon all the MPs over this and say fuck it to your own party. No one cares about them anymore, they only care about a few issues. He's walking a tight rope.
>>
>>78994307
shows their biases really, I havent seen a single article defending Farage from the shit Boris pulled. UKIP truly is their enemy.

Boris is a Remain infiltrator that jumped on the Brexit bandwagon to further his political career, don't trust him.

>>78994417
He certainly changed to using the net figure later on but for a fair bit of his campaign it was £350M/wk

>>78994607
Farage once said something close on Question Time right as the campaign was taking off, then later in the show he clarified and said it could go wherever the Government decided.
>>
>>78991797
He's not really liked that much it's just funny seeing him destroy his party and not give a single fuck.
>>
>>78994956
Proofs he was using 350m/week?
